I disagree. The announced titles coming to Wii U moving forward are stronger than the ones coming to Vita.Well the Vita is in a healthier position

It's free falling with around 550k shipped day one,
650K/75KDoes anyone know the original DQX's LTD on Wii & Wii U?

Hahaha perfection!WIU - 46,773
Super mario 3d world didn't even have a bigger opening than miku, p4g, toukiden ect. and Mario is much bigger than those. Wouldn't surprise me if Phantasy Star did bigger numbers than smash bros(wiiu) and mario kart.
Mario is NOT bigger than Mario Kart and Smash Bros.Super mario 3d world didn't even have a bigger opening than miku, p4g, toukiden ect. and Mario is much bigger than those. Wouldn't surprise me if Phantasy Star did bigger numbers than smash bros(wiiu) and mario kart.

Give it some time, I honestly believe the console will sell purely on tech/price/hype alone for at least 6 month (40-45k/week, with a strong launch of 600k or so) and will get third party announcements every other week starting Feb.
MH4G is assuredly coming, and presumably an Ace Attorney game, though I'll be interested to see what else (besides those two series) follows.
They're putting them all on mobile.
This is important. By all means, 3D World had a super bad start, but it will most likely keep selling for a while.I believe it will have a bigger ending than those games.
On it's first week.so GT6 sold 204k in 2 days, not bad.
Well the Vita is in a healthier position

Well well well Dragon Quest X will be million seller after all...
We can add it to the platinum chart:
(From memory)
I don't think Phantasy Star can even outsell Donkey Kong Country. It's like two comatose people only one is blinking.
Also, no way Phantasy Star will do more than Smash or Mario Kart.
650K/75K
Would it surprise you if MH4G actually released on android/ios and possibly even w8 with cross platform play between all of them? Or if before MH4G they released MH4 on mobiles? They did use the MH4 money to invest on their dedicated mobile division so it wouldn't surprise me to see them put a mainline MH game on mobile.
It's free falling with around 550k shipped day one, the LTD might be respectable but that's not the whole story, especially for a multi platform title.
It's something like Kingdom Hearts 3D.
On it's first week.
Second week sales will drop.
Phantasy Star?
Where did that come from? Some sorta autocorrect error?
Usually, that is irrelevant, isn't it?On its first 2 days, since it was only available for two days withing the week that was tracked.

To be accurate, if you're adding up the Wii and Wii U version, you might as well count every version of each iteration.
Otherwise, the fact this entry has been incredibly destructive to the franchise might be lost or attenuated.
650K/75K
DQ10 for the Wii U is 200K+ when you include digital. The expansion sells prove this.So nearly everyone with the Wii U version of the game got the expansion on the 1st week ? Is the expansion required to continue the game or something?
If not, it looks like Square-Enix has a loyal DQX following on the Wii U.
What exactly is the story on upgrading? Can you have the original Wii game and upgrade to the Wii U version? I wonder how much Square Enix will send as a second shipment. Do people think it's that they just shipped a perfect amount? Or that there's more demand than the first shipment here?
Too much money to risk. They may make a port of the 3DS game for it but it won't be exclusive, Capcoms financials simply aren't good enough to endanger there largest money maker like that.
Even then it's extremely iffy. Unlike normal rpgs, monster certainly isn't a game suited for touch screens at least not in it's current form, hence why it's mobile versions aren't as popular as it's handheld versions.
Chances are they'll keep mainline MH on the 3DS they simply won't bother with anything else.

Nintendo's first party content alone is stronger in both quality potential and sales potential than what the Vita is offering in 2014 so far.Stronger in what sense?
Quality? Sure, because they are Nintendo first party.
But outside of Nintendo's first party output for the console, what's left for the WiiU?
SE can't keep pumping out DQX expansion packs.
I don't think it's too risky if they port MH4 to android/ios/w8 to test the waters first. The cost would be minimal and they could see how the market reacts. The game would obviously support controller so it would be played better that way, but touch only on phones is required per apple (and probably google), so that would be a poor way for people to play if they wanted. It's less of an issue on 7+ inch tablets, but on phones it really is a big issue. Furthermore they could have cross platform play between the mobile devices, reaching a wider audience.

Mario Kart Wii: 3.612.831Also to compare Brawl vs. Mario Kart Wii vs. the Galaxy game sales on the Wii...
Brawl First Week: 819,647
Mario Kart Wii First Week: 593,576
Super Mario Galaxy (Nov 1, 2007) First Week: 250,585
What were the Japanese LTDs for all these games? I remember Galaxy struggled to hit a million right?

I don't think there's any prayer of such a "surprise". If you believe it, that's on you, but Vita is going to get clobbered this holiday season, then clobbered again in the New Year when Nintendo's heavy hitters release.I dunno mang, Gravity Daze 2 might surprise people.
Oh yeah, I don't know their costs and how much they've made so I wouldn't presume on profitability. It could even be their most profitable entry ever for all I know.Eh destructive is kinda a bit much. The game makes money from subscriptions, it may end up being the most profitable game in the lot, like it was with final fantasy.

Wii U is vita!
They're fighting over who gets the prettier coffin.both dead?
Yeah, cause ONE comment is evidence of a general pattern.Refer to this:
Sorry if people don't want to hear the truth, but if it jumps like Mario, looks like Mario, and talks like Mario, then it's a Mario (so to speak). These sales are disappointing. Encouraging, but ultimately disappointing. The spark of optimism reminds me of how Vita owners like Dave got excited when Vita had decent bumps only to get back in its coffin the next week.
Yeah, cause ONE comment is evidence of a general pattern.
What really happened is Wii U did decent numbers for once, people were not expecting the bump, you felt some type of way about the numbers, and you honked the horn on the doom train. You're really transparent, man. Give it a rest.
