Please allow me to get this off my chest and please concentrate while reading this. GAF IS NOT ERA’S TRASH BIN. I’m sick of cunts returning because they were banned permanently there and act like “Oh I’m sorry for what I’ve done but I was mislead” No, you go fuck yourself. They better thank god day and night that Tyler is a big hearted man. If I was him I’d never allow those pathetic two faced pieces of shit back. And no, I’ll never welcome any of them back unless it’s a special case. Sorry for the rant, I’m stopping here.

Can anything be done about how far out of the way some posters go to bring up SJWs and/or purple board? I'm sick of them, too - my avatar is a cheeky reminder of the day I got banned from Era - but some of the threads here are starting to read like a script. OP posts anything, reply #1 somehow relates it to woke culture, and the stage has been set for replies #2-50.

Perhaps a containment board or something? We were supposed to keep all discussion of Era inside one thread, but that kinda fizzled out.

Jesus H. Christ what is that guy's problem? Wasn't he a moderator once too (and if so this is telling as to the quality/sanity of the people they chose to be mods)? It's hard to keep up with which moderators they send into the exile of "Member" status, replace, or ban.

Hey, I was out of the country (still am) so I didn't notice lol.

For good sites, it's a mix. Writers mostly do their own research, keep an eye on social media, youtube, and pretty much every platform there is. Personally, when I'm at home I have 3 screens around me with various feeds. I don't know how others do it, but I'm quite sure many have similar setups. Of course, we also receive plenty of press releases, and they're just as good.

Bad ones just regurgitate press releases, but you don't go very far like that.

Then there's those who simply turn everything that gets posted on Resetera or Reddit into an article, regardless of credibility, but we don't talk about those :p

I remember there was an Era thread last year or so about the Original Chucky movie and how the guy who ends up in the doll (Lee Ray?) stole lessons learned from a stereotypical Haitian due to racism or something and how the whole movie is some message about how white people will be evil and kill even if they aren't in human form or something.

I don't know, I guess you need to inhale a lot of power to understand how anyone on that forum thinks. Home Alone post above is no surprise. Granted the first movie was better.
