Can't wait. One of the handful of series I legitimately look forward to. They always live up to the hype. Action packed. Tommy C always upping the ante on stunts.

Can't wait, Mission Impossible has consistently been top-tier action for the last decade.

Ghost Protocol, Rogue Nation, Fallout and Dead Reckoning Part 1 were all 100% worth going to a theater for.

I hope their release date works out this time.

Part 1 was pretty damn good, but was stuck in between Barbie and Oppenheimer.

Also lost all of its premium screens (IMAX, 4DX, Dolby) after a week, which ruined its box office run (Barbenheimer dominated everything that summer).

looking forward to this.
I hope they tone down the goofy humour that was present in Dead Reckoning. These are movies with impossible situations but the mix in Dead Reckoning felt off.
Cruise is on his way out. I don’t watch much modern cinema so I’m wondering who/where are the action movie stars for the future?
Between this and the Brave New World trailer, I’m excited to hopefully see testosterone flood the market again.

Why is it so long between releases? I forgot what happened in the last one. Other than Hayley Atwell looking fine and the train sequence.

I will see pretty much anything with Tom in it. Reminds me, I need to brush up on my scientology before I go see it.

Hopefully better than the last one. Great series overall but Reckoning was more like a fast and furious movie, not what i want out of these films.

For the first time in a while I'm not that excited for a new MI. I thought Dead Reckoning was suprisingly bland.
But at least the trailer looks cool.

Is it me or is aul Tom not bathing in virgin blood as much anymore, dude is starting to look old
He should've fully embraced that stylish Collateral look with shorter hair that's greyed and in general a more rugged look. It would also serve a story purpose of him being at the dusk of his capabilities.

No one shall be brought before our LORD David Bowie without the true and secret knowledge of the Photoshop. For in that time, so shall He appear.
I’m worried that executives will try to somehow shoehorn in a new hero, so Tom can “pass the torch” and they can keep making money off of this franchise. It happens too often in mainstream Hollywood. That would totally ruin this movie for me.

But if it was an actual send off to Ethan Hunt, that’d be awesome. I’ve always been a fan of that human looney-tune Tom Cruise when he’s on the big screen.

I was sure they would do that with Henry Cavill actually. He seemed a good fit for the role but I am certain that Tom does not want this to continue without him.

As much as I love Cavill, he’s not like Tom Cruise at all. Tom is kind of a tiny, squirrelly kinda dude. Not big and burly.

Though Cavill would make a great Bond imo.

I'm not sure but I think that the franchise might be too closely linked to Tom Cruise for someone else to take over. I imagine they'll reboot at some point, but given Tom Cruise's status as the world's greatest film star, I would assume that anyone trying to step into his Cuban heels would come off poorly by comparison. Especially when you consider that Cruise has made his role in M:I that of extreme stuntman and insurance company terrifier. I don't honestly know if anyone would be willing to raise the ante, let alone be able to pull it off. In that light, I'm not sure I can think of anyone who you could put in the role.

I've always thought Cruise was an excellent actor so I'll be glad when he takes a step back from the action and starts relying on the acting more than the stunts.

For real. I know most people wouldn’t care, but I’d love a Mission Impossible about the politics and brains of a mission, subverted and perfected by Ethen Hawk at the age of 70. That’d be so cool. But it would also require incredibly good writing.

The Mission impossible movies have become pretty much synonymous with a: incredible action set pieces and b: Holy good fuck did Tom actually do that!?, rebooting the series with a new actor would require the new actor to engage in doing some extreme stunt imo otherwise it ain't a Mission Impossible movie, having said that if he does retire there's no way Paramount are gonna leave that amount of money sitting on the table so I can see reboot happening

Before I watched the trailer, I hoped of at least one scene showing Tom Cruise at full sprint.

Was not disappointed.

🥱🥱🥱 This is the first time a Mission Impossible trailer has disappointed me. Hopefully this is the last movie. Series needs to go on ice for a while. It's becoming entirely predictable.

Haven’t watched it yet but I’m damn hyped. The movies have been hit after hit and they’re always enjoyable.
Cruise puts in the effort for sure.

1000% down for this. Might just have to strap the wife down for a 7 film marathon binge leading up to it! My kid is almost ready as well, I've been punis....errr rewarding him with Bond films every Thanksgiving of his life :p

I feel like Paramount should send everybody who bought a physical copy of "Dead Reckoning Part One" a replacement case that says "Final Reckoning Part Minus One".

Part 2 will always hold a special place with me as it was the first DVD I ever bought and played it on my brand new PlayStation 2. Also the beach fight scene with the “Knife eye” moment was pretty awesome to see in the theater..

Anyway, super excited to see this, my dad and I have seen every one in theater so I always look forward to these. Dead reckoning was a bit bloated, but the train part was very entertaining. Here’s hoping they stick the landing here.
