I'm pretty much certain that it is.
Because there is no way that Netflix would remake a 17 year old, not good, Swedish film.
And have it star Marlon Wayans, being written/directed by the Fifty Shades of Black/A Haunted House team.

However a part of me still feels as if I fell into a parallel, and somehow more absurd, universe the second I heard about this.
The only reason I would watch this is to see if there is even as much full frontal dong in the full film as there is in the trailer for the Swedish one.

Yeah, I saw it in the theatres going in blind. The first parts were a bit too slow for this type of movie.

Ha I was literally the exact opposite. I absolutely loved the first part of the movie but was bored by the war stuff. It went way too long in my opinion.

I really just didn't like the flashback/back story stuff. Everything else was fine.
Castlevania has a bad first impression, Belmont mumbles way too much with mediocre voice acting but gets better near the end, the last episode made me want more.
Watched two episodes of Friend from College and am not sure yet, it has some funny scenes but it isn't selling me on it yet.

Almost done with the first season of Mad Men. Til s4 this is actually a rewatch, but I don't remember everything so it's like I'm starting from scratch. I love this show even more than when I first watched it all those years ago. Not a single weak episode and I still have 'The Wheel' to go, which I remember as a standout. Actually the weakest part of the entire season are the flashbacks, but iirc those are mostly confined to that first season. I love how the 'who cares?' line, exactly how you'd figure Cooper would react.

I was very invested in Mad Men then when I started the last season out of nowhere I lost interest and stopped watching. Very strange.

I'm glad someone is showing love for LCU.
It is great, I am legit surprised it didnt get a large fanbase, but I guess people watch it since it got a second season.
Really love how they show how the coach got shook by seeing himself lose his shit on the doc and how he wants to better himself.
And then still loses his shit all the time.

I'm only 4 episodes in but really liking the second season. It probably helps that I'm an fsu diehard and they've been focused on their previous qbs. I like the change the coach has made to better himself. I think the production of the show has been great as well.
I loved loved loved the first half, the second half is good but can't compare.
(But it's a really good movie!)

Ozrak kinda reminds me of breaking bad. I am sure the comparison comes to mind for many. BUT it doesn't have shitty flashback storytelling so it's already better.

Wife and I are two episodes into Ozark. Good stuff, satisfies that "realistic yet pulpy" dark thriller itch we had. Comparable to Breaking Bad. A little more grounded it how it handles things, especially when
the hicks steal a suitcase full of his money.
Same thing here with s4 and beyond but I'm in it for the entire thing now. Just finished s2 and starting s3 tonight. Think this is the one where Kiernan Shipka got more screentime and started showing off her talent. Pretty excited to get to s4 since it's all new for me there. Continue to love every episode, what a show this is.
