Next Week's Famitsu Wave DVD

This is mostly a head's up to you guys here in Japan with the ability to rip DVDs (I'd do it, but my shitty laptop's DVD drive is completely busted).

Next week's Famitsu Wave DVD is E3 direct feed videos out the wazoo. Metal Gear Solid 3, Devil May Cry 3, Tekken 5, Ace Combat 5, Rumble Roses, Legend of Zelda, Final Fantasy XII. If you want to see nice crisp DVD quality vids of these games, I suggest you start bugging the Japan members to do the dirty work. ;)

FF's aren't meant to be completely realistic though. Just compare the skin tone compared in the games to the movie which was trying to look realistic. It's more of an anime character look than anything.

They are from the Special DVD of the latest Famitsu PS2.
It's hard to tell from my minimal Japanese, but I'm pretty sure the FF XII video on the next Famitsu Wave is the same video from Famitsu PS2 (being the E3 video).

I wanted to take FFXII home with me after playing it at E3. If they include that demo with anything this fall, I'll definately buy a copy. That's right, anything.

Damn i didnt like FFX's CG but i cnat deny that this is some of the most impressive CG i've ever seen in a game period. I will also buy any game just for a demo of this. It would be smart if the added the demo with the Chains of Promethia expansion pack. For those that are loyal and all to Square and pay there fees.

You know, if I could have both Final Fantasy XII and Halo 2 right now, I would gladly waive my ability to reproduce.

I think the design on the bunny people is really bad. I liked how they were handled in FFTA much better.

THe long hair thing just looks so odd with ears, did they have long hair in FFTA? Also I think if they had left them with fur instead of giving them skin it wouldn't looks so weird, the moogles look cool.

If you look at the artwork of the bunny people in FFTA, they really look no different from those in FFXII except that the FFXII characters look more grown up. In the artwork for the FFTA characters also they didn't have hair on their body (except for their ears) it was all skin just like with the FFXII characters.

Man, these FMVs are crazy. Now watch US magazines never release these FFXII and MGS3 trailers in this high quality on their discs...

Anyone who can host the MGS3 movie please contact me, the file is 512MBytes MPEG-2 (15+ minutes) and I am sure I wouldn't host it.

Is that the VOB file?

I say bittorrent it, and distribute it as VOB, so that it can be burned back to a DVD and watched on a TV :)

I have already demux and re-muxed it into a MPG file. Converting it into Xvid at the moment.

My ADSL connection is extremely unstable when using bittorrent.
