Jets suck
Isn't it funny how in our league this wouldn't be a forgone conclusion?
Dolphins suck.
Go Pats
Other teams suck
If the biggest city in the world and its surrounding areas were not around to view a football game would Alex Smiths passes still fall woefully off target? The answer must be yes.
Lost power at about 2 yesterday and not expecting to get it back for a while...just wasting precious battery on my phone to catch up. All safe though . Stuck it out at the house. Backyard is a beautiful mess but the trees somehow avoided my house and no significant water damage. Going to be a bitch to clean up though. Hope everybody else fared as well.
Bears still suck.
18/19 passing against the powerhouse cards D! You must respect!
http://soundcloud.com/deadspin-1/radwfan-10-29-2012-13-50-55Actual call from Babylon, NY on sports-talk radio just now: "My house is underwater but I want to talk about Jets INTs in the redzone."
http://aol.sportingnews.com/nfl/sto...ackson-packers-trade-rb-rams-acquire-deadlineThe Packers saw Steven Jackson rush for 57 yards and a touchdown against them on 12 impressive carries in Week 7. Now they have until Thursday before Week 9 to decide whether they want to acquire the Rams' star for their own backfield for the rest of the season.
ESPN reported the Packers are among multiple teams who might be interested in trading for Jackson before the NFL deadline, now extended to Nov. 1 at 4 p.m. ET. He would be their replacement for another aging veteran, Cedric Benson, who is on the shelf with a foot injury.
Jackson is the same age as Benson, 29, but offers a little more power. Since Benson got hurt, the Packers have been relying on second-year player Alex Green to carry the load, but Green has averaged just 2.9 yards on his 74 carries over the past four games.
This is expected to be Jackson's last year in St. Louis, given he can become an unrestricted free agent in 2013. Moving Jackson now would allow the Rams to get a draft pick in return. The Packers, however, need to decide if it's worth paying approximately $3 million of the $7 million that's owed to Jackson in 2012.
The team has won three straight with Green serving as a 20-plus touch runner and receiver out of the backfield. The 2011 third-round pick from Hawaii also makes only makes $465,000 for all of the season.
If only you had Russel Wilson you'd be SB locks
Edit: I'm not trolling ATL fans. But how can Matt Ryan be some sort of MVP favorite. If you had to pick the QBs you'd want leading your team in a playoff game for just this year, how far do you go before you get to him? If it goes to the best player on the team with the best record, is that even Ryan?
He's not the favorite. AGod should be.Edit: I'm not trolling ATL fans. But how can Matt Ryan be some sort of MVP favorite. I don't think people in this thread have seen much of Matt this year, but he looks different. He plays much more confidently. He's throwing outside the hashes more confidently. Koetter's letting the receivers run more than just outs and digs. We actually have a screen game for the first time in...ever. I can't remember the last time we had a competent screen game - not even in the late 90s.
The reason I like the kid is that he never tries to deflect blame. He clearly accepted the criticism for the playoff failures the last three seasons.
The pick and choose method for ranking players is silly. Brady and Manning wouldn't thrive in, say, Pittsburgh for example. The successful franchises adapt their personnel to fit their QB.
My twigs and berries have done nothing to harm you. I'm not Big Ben.
I like this line
as if he had any impact on them winning those 3 gamesThe team has won three straight with Green serving as a 20-plus touch runner and receiver out of the backfield.
Well, you'll get an opportunity Sunday night.I haven't seen much of Ryan. I guess, probably unfairly, that I've seen all I want to see from them in the regular season. Remind me a lot of the late 80s early 90s Oilers.
Definitely going to the bar to watch that one.So I just checked the schedule and the only "prime-time" game for the Dolphins is a Thursday nighter in Week 11... against the Bills. Apologies in advance for that one, guys.
We will truly see if young Tannehill is ready for the spotlight. Every single person in America, and possibly the world provided they have access to a computer, will be watching.Definitely going to the bar to watch that one.

Shanahan: DeAngelo Hall could be suspended for incident that led to ejection
Well that's not depressing. All teams get a Thursday game. A pat on the head to all the shitty franchises that no one should be forced to watch. I've noticed that they tend to go for the "big bad" and pair two crappy franchises into those games when they could
Dude was a punk back at VT, obviously nothing has changed since then. He deserves to be suspended.Redskins update:
At the halfway point of the season:
Hey, we're playing the Browns this week!
Time to right the ship.
When I look to the BUF vs HOU match-up, I am thinking that NFL God is a complete motherfucker.

Steelers update:
Ive been texting my friend links to Assassin's Creed 3 reviews and saying the game sucks because its only getting 8.5s. He's a huge fanboy and he's getting flustered.
Much more fun to troll in real life.

I love Cromartie's comments after the game about how he didn't lose his composure. Suuuuuuuuuuuure. That Reggie stiff-punch set the tone for the game. For the handful of other Fins fans here
Only lends further credibility to the idea that Jim Harbaugh is actually FMT.
