It has taken no time at all for Julien to make me just as frustrated at Therrien did with his awful line combos and PP units.
So they go from a multi 100 point team under Therrien to the worst team in the league under Julien? Makes sense. I don't think they can't make a cup final, but I also don't think this is the worst team in history and everything needs to be torn down.

yes that's what teams do, they change. This is not Therrien's team, this is a significantly worse team, and players who overplayed in the past aren't overplaying

I don't think this is the worst team in history, but a lot of things need to be torn down, starting with management.
Look at that defensive squad, a team of people got together and decided that this was a solid group. They didn't even account for Mete making the team, they planned to have zero puck moving defensemen in the lineup.

Yes if only we could have Therrien, Desharnais, Emelin, Flynn, King, Barberio, Beaulieu, Martinsen, Ott, and Redmond back we'd be division title holders again! Losing Markov with no obvious replacement is a huge gaffe on Bergevins part, but losing him doesn't take this team from the top to the bottom.
I 100% don't think the defence was ever great and Bergevin claiming otherwise is him saving face, but when you are one of the* top shooting team in the league and you have the best goalie in tbe league you should be able to compensate for that, but it's an obvious fuck up on Bergevins part.

he has not been specular, i dont think he is the root of the habs problems.
Does the concept of a teams shooting percentage escape you? Do you actually understand how abnormal and impossible the teams shooting percentage is? If they can continue to out shoot teams like this, they scoring will come. Bryon will not be the teams leading scorer at the end of the season and Patches will not have 6 goals in May. I don't know why this is such a hard concept to grasp. The team was always going to be a low scoring team but there's a massive difference in low scoring, and a 3% shooting percentage.
