I know their catalog pretty well, probably more than some of the biggest Nintendo fans out there (I mean, how many people know about games like Famicom Bunko?), and I still don't see the supposed magic.
I have a soft spot for stuff like Donkey Kong Country or mainline Super Mario (SMB3, Galaxy, 3D Land), but that's about it.

What Nintendo did with Mario peeking behind the curtain in that picture before the reveal of the Switch 1 was certainly evidence of an imminent reveal. this is not that at all.

Whats funny, is what if it really was suppose to be revealed on the 8th and Nintendo felt 100% sure about this and likely had marketing contracts with many manufactures for that date.
What if after some reveal delay, those companies felt they had no ode to delay their own marketing for those 3rd parties accessories based on Nintendo's choice to delay their own reveal. ?
