NYC-area Prime customer here. My order has been saying 'shipping today' for 48 hours, and still shows that it'll be here by 8 tonight . . . which I seriously doubt. I just got off the phone with Amazon and they basically told me the same thing. They don't know why it hasn't shipped, they don't know when it'll be here, and they don't know why they can't tell me any useful information. Very frustrating.

Should I contact Amazon now or wait till 8pm? I kind of want to hear the story they spin me, but I know it'll only make me more pissed off. Even if they do compensate me something, it'll probably suck and not calm me down.

Is there any possibility of finding this in store still?

Probably depends on your location. I live in a small ass town so I walked in and got everything I wanted (except my Master Edition BotW) and walked out.

If you do find them locally, you can just refuse the Amazon packages when they attempt delivery. They'll automatically get refunded when they get back to the warehouse.

Go ahead and call them now. All I got was a lousy month extension on Prime. I was at least nice to the rep since I feel bad ripping into them. I did however leave a scathing comment afterwards about the fact I couldn't have been advised ahead of time where I could have gone to a retailer to purchase one or how I was told I would receive it by end of day.

Also told them I'm glad I got Prime for another month so I can have even more purchases arriving late.

Ordered from both Amazon andGamestop. Havent received the Amazon order yet, but the Gamestop one came today. Even though it was supposed to arrive Monday. Lucky break!

Anybody got their order from Walmart that ordered them a few days ago? I have one that still says processing, when I talked to customer service yesterday they said it will still come but I don't think they know...

Just got my Amazon and Best Buy order. Holy shit, Best Buy packages their stuff nice. The box is double the size of Amazon, and stuffed to the rim with air bag thingies. The Amazon box is just about large enough to fit the Switch packaging itself, and that is it.

It's been 11 hour since UPS said my order was out for delivery. I have yet to hear anything from anyone. I refuse to believe there's any good left in the world.

I just talked to a rep that told me they are doing fraudulent checks on all the orders and it will ship out later today, most likely arriving Monday.

So I called again and now they're telling me it hasn't shipped yet. This is incredible. I can't believe they're basically lying to me. Going from "It's in transit" to "Well, it hasn't been shipped yet"

Amazon finally updated the status of my order. Estimated arrival time: fucking Sunday. Oh wait, it's through USPS, so it's actually Monday.

Last time I order a console through Amazon. Best Buy got all the stuff I ordered to me today, Amazon can't manage that even when they've got a fucking distribution center two counties away from me.

USPS delivers on Sunday for Amazon. I've received packages on Sunday multiple times.

Still at work but my Amazon page says that my Switch should arrive by 8pm tonight.....and that it hasn't yet shipped. What the fuck? Is anyone else getting this message?

Just got off the phone with Amazon. Yeah, the last 2-3 times I've asked for updates on my order they have straight up lied to me saying it shipped. It hasn't, and they've now sent over complaints to the people I talked to previously who said otherwise. I'm not getting it today most likely. It's been sitting 2 hours away from me since yesterday morning. Fuck Amazon.

UPS truck stops in front of my house, guy gets out and leaves a package (a package that's too small to possibly be the Switch) on my neighbor across the street's front step. As he starts driving off, I go out and chase after him. I tell him he didn't leave my package off. And he asks what number my house is. I tell him and he says "sorry man, nothing for you". And then I show him the tracking on my phone and he's like "oh I'm on the wrong road". So, he hands me my package and then backs up so he can go back to my neighbor's house and takes it off their step so he can deliver it to the right street. No wonder this guy took all day.

Damn- welp. What really sucks is that I originally had an order through Best Buy but I canceled it because BB screwed me over on my Wii U pre-order(and 2 others preorders in the past) and didnt want to deal with that again. Oh well...

Guys.. I got two Neons.

My Neon BB was delivered earlier and I just picked up what was supposed to be a Gray from Walmart - which turned out to be Neon as well.

I wanted the Neon... which one do I open now?

Same here except it is 5PM here. Amazon support seems to insist it is possible. I have my doubt though, just got to wait until 8PM or the order updates to a different time to contact them again so I don't keep getting the same response.

Amazon Logistics says they couldn't reach my front door, even though A) I provided them my gate code and B) the gate is open until 5:00PM ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Amazon Logistics lost a package for me a month ago, missed their delivery date a few days ago for a different package, I lost my Master Collection preorder, and now this.

I think I'm done with Amazon.
