The xbox one x from 2017 has a 384 bit bus and 12gb of vram....don't waste money on this crap....at least the 4060 had a low watt card that could fit in htpc/office pcs rtx 5000 is a complete joke and 16gb of vram on the 5060 ti with a 128 bus is a slap in the face

XBX was just a buffed up RX 580. Though the RX 580 was 8GB for around $200 US at launch like 10 years ago.

Crazy to say this but AMD actually had a chance to jump into this market with the bier next gen cards if they try just a little more!

For pcs 16gb is the minimum you should be buying in 2025!!

My Trident 9440 had that. I got it from 512kb to amazing 1mb. Bullfrog's Hi-Octane framerate jumped to a solid 60fps.

Yep, i also had one. Thanks to that, i could use my desktop in 24bit color.

Its 8$ for Samsung 16gb gddr6 module . Probably half if you buying in bulk . Half if you just swap 8gb module for 16gb , so probably cost 2$ more for nvidia to upgrade 8gb to 16gb .

A) These cards aren't using GDDR6. G7 is more expensive.
B) You have to put 4 of these "modules" on a 128 bit card.
C) You get 8GB with 4 16Gb memory chips. So $32 is what 8GB G6 cost you. You can basically double that for 16GB, add the cost of G7 over G6 and you're well into +$100 retail price territory.
So as I've said - memory isn't free.

Steve from GN said NVIDIA briefed them and there was nothing about the 5060s, so nothing is happening.
