Episode 3 was a load of nothing. Not sure how I feel about this show.
Same after 3 and 4.Episode 3 was a load of nothing. Not sure how I feel about this show.
No need for speed, huh?Wow. Haven’t seen Imogen Poots in anything in a while, I like her. My backlog is too long right now for this show though. Will watch it 28 weeks later.
I'm no poker stud butWho knew a buffalo could help you win a card game.
I'm no poker stud butdidn't his 2 pair beat her hand regardless? Not sure why he had the cheat card. May e she came out with a straight ir something?
Yep. Menetioned this earlier. Hate that. The show is only going because he doesn’t tell anyone.I like the show and love Brolin, but I hate the trope that someone discovers something amazing and keeps it for themselves / tries to hide it for whatever bullshit reason.
The best kind. What the hell kind of name is Imogen Poots
Agreed. But then the show would require a science oriented writer instead of the interpersonal conflict interested one we have. Somehow I'm beginning to doubt that a quantum physics PhD was consulted on this project.Yep. Menetioned this earlier. Hate that. The show is only going because he doesn’t tell anyone.
It would be better if he told his family and they were all sort of dealing with it.
While there are parts that are extremely slow and not worthwhile, I think the main drama is great, edge of your seat stuff. Basically, whenever Brolin is on screen, it's a great fucking show. Every two episodes gets a new director, which explains the inconsistency. Imo, episodes 5 and 6 are garbage compared to the rest (especially 5). Season finale has one hell of a cliff hanger and a lot of No Country For Old Men vibes.
When Poots and her man are making out. That was a choice. Looks like 2 people that have never kissed.
Yeah, there were slow aspects, I think especially Rhett and that girl he was crushing on, that whole storyline was a snoozefest and could have been entirely cut. Probably too much time dedicated to Rhett's rodeo shit overall too. But man the good weird stuff just got better as the show went along, this was overall a really fun and unique show. Though, I did see that one finale "reveal" coming a long time ago, so no surprise there - though Royal's reveal about his origin was unexpected. Really hope this gets a second season.
Every time the singing guy and Autumn were on screen together it felt like a completely different show. In a bad way.
The singing was amazing to me lolI went into this show suspecting full well it would end without closure, and I wasn't wrong. This better get a 2nd season. The singing was really out of place with the rest of the show, and the gross kissing close-ups too. Everything else was great.
LTTP but It's canceled

'Outer Range,' the Western and sci-fi series starring Josh Brolin, has been canceled by Amazon after two seasons.www.indiewire.com
It got a second season?
What about that J.K. Simmons show (Dark Sky?).
I feel betrayed by this latest round of "prestige sci-fi" that turns out to be just quirky characters and melodrama.
Peacock better not f'up TEACUP!
Yvonne is soooooo StraHOTski in it! How has that girl aged like fine wine!Teacup is great so far

I'm a big fan of the book it's based on (and why that wasn't publized more is a mystery) so i have high hopes for it. If I like the next couple of eps I may even start a thread for it.
Canceled after S1.What about that J.K. Simmons show (Dark Sky?).
That's just how most TV shows are produced. Even a legendary show like Breaking Bad had multiple directors in one season. If I had to guess, it's probably just a matter of efficiency since they have to film x amount of hours per season.I wish that shows would stop with the "different director" nonsense. It is bad enough when it is done across seasons, let alone within a season.
Welp. That sucks.LTTP but It's canceled

Thats mostly due to the cost of sci-fi shows, traditionally they were always on the higher end so they had to hit big or get wrapped up.this is the nature with Sci-fi though, you either get one or two seasons or you are stupidly successful, there's no real middleground.
I never watched season 2.
Same hereNot surprised, it had an interesting concept but the show itself was boring, had to drop it after four episodes
