Pearl Abyss aims to launch Crimson Desert in 2025
• 50-80 hrs single-player campaign with a "definitive ending"
.• Multiplayer Mode will be released after launch

Crimson Desert is sticking to its expected 2025 release window, and will get a multiplayer mode after launch. It will also be about 50-80 hours in length in single-player with a "definitive ending".

This all comes from English translations of a briefing that developer Pearl Abyss held with investors in September. Here, the studio outlines some more details about its upcoming open-world RPG, including its plans for post-launch support.

While the original coverage of the meeting has since been made private, it was backed up and translated on both Reddit and ResetEra. Here, we have an overview of what was discussed, including the release window.

Another possible great game incoming from Korea. Cant wait, the combat looked alot like Dragon's Dogma inspired, so it might be a Day 1 purchase. Not interested in the post launch MP mode.

Black Desert has a very skippable story. There's a running joke that when expansion content comes out that includes story that people need to warm up the "R key".

For those who don't know, the R kay is what you use to skip dialogue.

I'm honestly amazed the game's campaign is so short. Based on the early gameplay segments which showed dimension warping, kingdom siege, riding dragons and riding to war, I thought the scale of the game would be insane.

I thought the campaign would be a 200 hr beast.

Lads, I've watched the gameplay previews and...dunno, there's something weird with the lighting, everything looks "flat" for a lack of a better word...
Anyone else noticed that? It looks really weird

Game looks interesting from previews I saw so definitely will keep an eye if it.

It will be interesting to see performance on PC and PS5 Casual Edition.

Or is it just one of Phil's balls in my throat?
Length seems too long, let's hope it's one of those PR boasts and not actually representative.

Do my eyes deceive me or is that an actual male protagonist??? As rare as a unicorn as of late in todays gaming world. Looks pretty good and I will support the devs and buy it myself. Glad it’s releasing on all platforms with no timed exclusivity shite.

Looks very tempting. I hope they nail it. The gameplay shown so far looks very promising even though a bit clunky. I hope we're looking at a Q1-Q2 release.

It's funny how many gamers here have already said that the "50-80 hrs single-player campaign" of this is too long. When I first saw that length, I was thinking it was too short. I personally love nothing better (gaming-wise) than immersing myself in massive 3rd-person open world adventure games. From what I've seen so far of Crimson Desert, that's exactly what this is. I also like the look of the main character, and the trailers show off diverse environments as well as a wide variety of gameplay elements that I've enjoyed in other games. So, 50+ hours? I'm ready Pearl Abyss! :goog_cool:

Been looking forward to this since 2020. So far they haven't shown a single frame of boobs and thighs, and I don't believe this is the case for the game.

I just need it to run optimized at 60 on console. I decided to wait with Dragon’s Dogma 2 because everyone complained about how the game performed.
