KENNER, La. (WGNO) - After a weekend of rumors, Kenner police released mug shots and additional details on a sex scandal involving two Destrehan High School English teachers and a student.

At a press conference Wednesday, authorities said Shelley S. Dufresne, 32, and Rachel Respess, 24, had a threesome with a 16-year-old student.

The alleged incident happened at Respess’s home in Kenner after a football game.

Kenner police also released some details about the student, saying he is a junior at Destrehan High School and that they’re looking into the possibility that he videotaped or took pictures of the encounter.

I can never understand these kinds of stories. I'm sure there are a lot of legally-aged hunks in the bayou that would have gladly indulged them.

For Shelley Dufresne this is her second trip to jail in one week. She’s also facing charges out of St. Charles Parish where authorities believe the relationship continued.

According to Dufresne’s Destrehan High profile she’s an LSU and Destrehan High alum, graduating from DHS in 2000. She’s was currently starting her tenth year as a teacher and reveals she is married with three young children, and is the daughter of St. Charles Parish Judge Emile St. Pierre.
