@DougHeye
Majority Leader Cantor stands with @SpeakerBoehner. Speculation otherwise is silly, non-productive and untrue.
Not necessarily.No. They did it to themselves.

Hahaha the right is so pissed at their golden boy.

Paul Ryan says the 41-to-1 tax hikes to spending cuts crapwich "reflects conservative values." Stop it.
Obama doesn't mention Cantor, yum.
I am still not quite clear though: will payroll taxes go up?
Yes. That wasnt really on the table.
Cantor is probably the only politician Obama hates more than Romney.
fuck you
Sucks about the payroll tax cut, but I respect that Pelosi and Reid don't WANT it extended. I get that it was a stimulative temporary measure, but with these nuts in the congressional GOP, I want to not fuck with with any sort of Social Security funding mechanism as possible. Any small thing could be used to start "reforming" (i.e., gutting) the program.
Yeah, the payroll thing only really frustrates me personally because it screws over my family since my father is self employed.
Not only a hard line on the Debt Ceiling, but he actually framed it correctly as well!
I missed it. What exactly did he say?
I missed it. What exactly did he say?
This is like the speech PoliGAF wanted him to make like, two days ago.
He said that we shouldn't have a fight about paying for bills we've already run up and how he's not going to be debating it anymore.
I believe it was "the United States cannot decide not to pay the bills on spending that has already been approved", or something to that effect.
He said that we shouldn't have a fight about paying for bills we've already run up and how he's not going to be debating it anymore.
Minus the Medicare reform shit
And the whole "we need to reduce the deficit" shit.
"I will not have another debate with this congress over whether or not they should pay the bills that they already racked up with the laws that they passed. Let me repeat, we can't not pay bills that we already incur, if congress refuses to give the US government the ability to pay those bills on time the consequences for the entire global economy will be catastrophic, far worse than the impact of the fiscal cliff".I missed it. What exactly did he say?
He said the same thing about Medicare he always says save the program money by reducing the cost of health care. What is wrong with that?Minus the Medicare reform shit
I get such nice schadenfreude out of reading Michelle Malkin's butthurt tweetshttps://twitter.com/michellemalkin/status/286324162669211648

Velshi is going in on Cole.Rep. Tom Cole is talking to Ali Velshi and it's taking everything Velshi's got to not tear into him and rip his guts out.
Yea, the look on my face when he said that was just pure bliss.
Velshi is going in on Cole.
He said the same thing about Medicare he always says – save the program money by reducing the cost of health care. What is wrong with that?
