IllFonic, the new publisher of Predator: Hunting Grounds, has announced that the 1v4 asymmetrical multiplayer game will be coming to the Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. The publisher has also announced a year-long road map, which includes new playable predators.

The first update players can expect is the 2.49 patch, which will be released sometime in April. This update will focus on quality-of-life fixes, including balance changes, player movement, and more. Later in the year, Predator: Hunting Grounds will be ported to modern consoles. Both a standard and digital deluxe edition of the game will be offered, although there was no word on what will be included in the latter.

I bought it at launch on PC and loved it for a good while. I loved Predator almost as much as I love the Alien IP, so, biting and enjoying it for awhile wasn't a hard thing to do. It was definitely a budget title, and there was jank, but it was fun for awhile. I just felt like it needed more content. They continued to add more and more, but I just never went back. I still felt like it needed some more. With them doing this maybe I'll revisit it at some point. Clearly they have some kind of faith in it to be returning to it, which says quite a bit. Maybe they could make it even better?

Like why the fuck do they think it died in the first place? Lol, it needs half a dozen to a dozen NEW maps, better objectives and balancing, tbh it basically needs to be a new game…

Played about 50 hours on PS4 and I enjoyed my time with it. I have a group of buddies on Xbox that really wanted to play but they said hell no to buying a PlayStation. Might pick it up for my Series X and hope that there’s enough players to sustain our group for a few months.

I'll probably get it, one of my favourite game modes every was predator hunt for AvP 2 on the pc so hopefully this will scratch that itch. Maybe a spell on game pass would help it

I played it not long ago and had no trouble finding players. Runs at a locked 60fps on PS5 too.
