Because Gamepass, Microsoft and Digital Foundry are demons no matter what… Switch 2 Next. Why do the same people argue it’s free because it’s on Gamepass.
And then other times, it’s NOT free you are paying for Gamepass.
Make up your damn mind!
This is men in boxes.
Which part of it is woke?no, its woke trash.
No, gamepass is more expensive cause you don't really own anything. Why do the same people argue it’s free because it’s on Gamepass.

You don’t ever truly own games you buy either. No, gamepass is more expensive cause you don't really own anything.
And all they had to do was put it on a 20 dollar/month subscription service and eat into actual sales!
Same as digital perchase… Also you can buy a physical copy if you want. GP is just another option. No, gamepass is more expensive cause you don't really own anything.
They'll buy it essentially, adding other games if they try them which is the whole purpose of the subscription, to hook you up.What if people end up paying more than 3 months just to play COD?
You could quick resume up to 7 games, you couldn't look further than these 7 games, so it's not 300+ games, practically speaking, as they advertised. Adding the fees for renewal to keep you busy, that's how much it really cost. you're a human, not a machine.Same as digital perchase… Also you can buy a physical copy if you want. Absolutely not the same thing.Same as digital perchase… Also you can buy a physical copy if you want. GP is just another option.
I don’t get the relation you are making between Quickresume and Gamepass… Also i have around 15 GP games installed on my Series X.You could quick resume up to 7 games, you couldn't look further than these 7 games, so it's not 300+ games, practically speaking, as they advertised. YesWhat are we defining as an "xbox" here?
Well, it is a like it or not situation, because that is the direction they are moving in. If they can get people on the PC to sign up for game pass to play COD, I think that is a win in their books. I am still not sure if we have an idea and I think it is a bit too soon to reach hard conclusions, of how many people who only played COD signed up for GP and how much of those people convert to long time subscribers. Early signs seem to be good for Game Pass. There aren’t that many Ultimate subscribers on Xbox, total sub count is around 30 mil and that’s all the tiers and PC Gamepass included.
But one could question if by ”Xbox” they actually mean any device with access to the Xbox app. I play it on PC. Is that an Xbox now? Yes it is going by their ad. Then it’s easy to understand that ”Xbox” is the biggest platform.
Including PC sure. Only xbox console? Impossible.
No.
You're comparing previous sales data with this year's engagement data after giving away your game to ~20 million players at no additional cost.
So ready
Not a problem for me. I used to love blockbuster. Then I’d buy the ones I really liked. No, gamepass is more expensive cause you don't really own anything.
You are a very distinguished chicken... I will reveal my true form:So ready
weird, never saw thatNo they have a screen, and it says other console, it's the same on ps systems for xbox systems.
Can only go by myself. I’m in as long as I can get the subscription at a lower price. Right now I’m set til 2026 at $5/month through stacked prepaid Xbox Live cards. If they can get people on the PC to sign up for game pass to play COD, I think that is a win in their books. I meant 7 aaa games, you don't get distracted?I don’t get the relation you are making between Quickresume and Gamepass… Also i have around 15 GP games installed on my Series X.
Yeah, that's something they will have to do, and their big purchase of Activision (I think anyway) was for this reason. It will be interesting to see what happens from here. I thought paying $20 was a bit much too, so I am no longer subscribed. If there is a game that interests me, I will just buy it.Can only go by myself. But if I have to pay $20/month I would probably think twice. Might be worth it for short periods when big games are coming, like now with COD, Flight Sim, Stalker 2, Indy. But the service needs big games regularly to be worth that kind of money, for me at least. Can’t have slow periods for half a year or more, then it’s better to just pop in for short subs.
The moment I got distracted from gamepass right when Sarah Bond said "what if you don't have to choose?", making choices is natural and necessary. You don’t ever truly own games you buy either.
Just give in. Let game pass set you free from the shackles of choice. The moment I got distracted from gamepass right when Sarah Bond said "what if you don't have to choose?", making choices is natural and necessary.
I subbed for 3 years cause I wanted to experience more games to have better understanding of what I'm about to buy, and then I found myself making more choices than usual without taking huge risks, and these games made me more satisfied than ever, gamepass is like going to prison, you feel way better when you quit.Just give in. Let game pass set you free from the shackles of choice.
Don’t know what big games Activision Blizzard have coming in the near future, another COD next year and another Diablo in 5+ years?Yeah, that's something they will have to do, and their big purchase of Activision (I think anyway) was for this reason. Yeah, you are not wrong. They are going to have to keep a steady flow of games coming to make it worth it.Don’t know what big games Activision Blizzard have coming in the near future, another COD next year and another Diablo in 5+ years?
They cancelled the survival game, that could’ve been something in 2-3 years maybe.
I don’t think they can get a steady flow of games through first party, they need to pay big to get more third party games on the service.
