Sony confirmed that the PS5 will launch in Brazil in november 19, with the same stuff as the US. The difference? It will cost R$4499,99 for the digital model and 4999,99 for the disc model.

Kinda on the same page, the PS4 was launched here for R$3999, but the dollar was like R$2,30 back then. Now the dollar is R$5,30, and even thou the taxes are expensive as hell, should not be R$5000.

Also, games will be by default R$250 to R$350. For comparison, Last of Us was launched for R$150, LoU2 was launched for R$200.

Well, in the dark market you can buy a kidney. But in the grey there's no idea how will be. My guess is that the PS5 will be at least R$4000, which is not good.

The congress dont want the state to be reduced since they want to keep all the caviar lobsters for diinner thanks to the insane amounts of benefits for the elite of público office,and as a result, a good tax reform is hard.

But the problem is not Just the goverment. It is cultural. Brazilians like to pay more no matter what and retailers abuse that.
