On Monday, the first ever private space craft will launch. 9:30am. Created by Scaled Composites the ship will go up 100km (62 miles) on a journey that will take about 90 minutes.

No matter how this turns out I'm sure it will be entertaining.

Heck i might just try and get a rid over there. One of the guys in this competition is from Kern County and i've met him several times at many conventions for aviators and weird space people (you know the ones that like ufo's and shit) pretty cool guy.
