August 15th according to the computer system at work...

I thought it would be Aug. 30th along side Pikmin 2, but looks like they want to use this as a lead up to the almighty title of 2004...

Cool, huh, this might encourage some impulse buys when they see they get a game plus demo disc (hopefully more than just Echoes demo, but I doubt it). Now I just hope they release the demo separately.

THe last consumer demo disc Nintendo put out was the MKDD bonus disc, right? Isn't it about time for another wacky bonus disc promotion, other than "only with a new system"?

Of course, the first "official" bonus disc (Billy Hatcher/Sonic/Etc.) was never supposed to have been distributed except as a bonus with the purchase of a new GC system, right?

efralope, is your store getting a large allocation of Prime bundles? Because there would be no point in getting a non-bundle unless the price was going to drop.

Do these bundles ever get used in the Costco bundle? Because if they do I'll wait and pick up the Costco bundle that's going to use the Metroid bundle GC package instead of the current one that just uses the regular console.

I don't know what the name of the bundle is, I was just playing with the computer seeing how GCN sales were going at our store and around the district, and seeing if I could get the items to show up (the indigo, platinum and black GCN's), but then a ton of items and accessories showed up, and one of them was curious, it said Gamecube Metroid-something... I thought it might have been some old crap or bonus thing we had done in 02, but then I saw the 2004 release date when I clicked on the item...

I don't know how many we are getting (at this point 0, but that will change a few days before)...

Yeah, at my store these are supposed to hit the stores between the 8th and 15th of August. Warehouse is getting them the first week of August. It looks like we'll be getting quite a few of them too. Unfortunately, there is no listing for the Metroid disc separately, so it looks like they might not do what they did for the Zelda bundle during Christmas. For that they sent a ton of the Zelda discs separately to give away to people who bought Gamecubes that weren't alread packaged with the Zelda disc.

Actually, isn't it possible that they've made a special printing of Metroid Prime with a MP2 demo on the disc itself?
