Well the actor fought for Jughead to remain asexual, but they refused to listen.

At least he tried, I can respect that.

He might turn asexual after he realizes that he's just not into it ?

He was Ross's son on Friends and then he and his twin starred in The suite Life of Zack and Cody and The Suite Life on Deck for six or seven years.
His twin (Dylan Sprouse) is the guy who had his nudes leaked a year or two ago.

Believe me, fans don't wan't Jughead to be asexual! Some of the comic readers maybe but the vast majority of the Riverdale audience won't even be aware of it (doesn't Archie Comics only sell a few thousand copies of each issue?), Jughead will probably be shipped with various character as soon as people see a spark of chemistry between them.

I really like the way this show looks visually but I'm not sure I'll like the show itself. I'll probably give it a shot.

Sprouse brothers will always be the kid from Big Daddy to me since I've never really seen him in much else.

This isn't really my thing and I have zero attachments to Archie comics but I guess I'll give it a couple episodes. There should be a law against having this many pretty people on a TV show at once.


EDIT: Oh wow, they were on Grace Under Fire too, I vaguely remember it though I watched I think most of its run but besides a few minor things here and there, that's it going by IMDB.

As someone who grew up reading Archie and collecting the digests from my local supermarket, I...don't know how I should feel about this.

I want to enjoy this, but it's gonna be hard to disassociate my perception of Archie and the gang from this new take.

Going in with an open mind.

I'm wondering how likely the (major season finale rumor/spoiler)
"Sabrina showing up at the end as a cult escapee"
rumor is. K.J. Apa reportedly said that would happen in a roundtable interview at the SDCC last year, but I mostly saw it mentioned on Twitter and a few sites at the time.

I can totally see it happening though, especially if
it gives them a chance for a spin-off show.

Netflix has the rights to Riverdale. The full series will be live 8 days after the season finale. Otherwise you can watch the most recent episodes on The CW app.

Awesome news for international folks, it'll be on Netflix weekly the day after it airs in the US for these regions: CA, ANZ, Benelux, Nordics, Portugal, UK/IE, DACH, Czech, Nordics, France, Poland, APAC.

Yeah, there's not much he can do about the script, but he's been vocal about it. I'm looking forward to his portrayal the most, some reviews mentioned Jughead being the standout. Also because Cole Sprouse is super charming.

I've been reading some of those and looking up info on Classic Archie.

I find the relationships dynamic really odd. Apparently Veronica and Archie are BFGF but when she's not around he hits up Betty.

Or really anyone. Dude is always hitting on girls and dating them.

Which Veronica also dates other people so I guess it's kind of an open thing. Yet they both get jealous. Same with Betty sort of.

Basically Archie seems kind of like a dick and I'm shocked the 2 core girls put up with it.

New Archie on the new comic and that whole thing is much better IMO

This show is gonna take my guitar pleasure spot from Vampire Diaries once it retires. At least I hope so.

Also, which comic book series is best to start out with? The 2015 run? It seems more in line with what the show is going for.

Super excited for this next week! It looks and sounds very promising. I wish they had kept Jughead asexual though, but it's a CW show so I'm not surprised they decided to change it.

Okay, from what I remember of the Sabrina horror series, that does seem in the same vein of the comic which means it might happen but it's not a sure thing.

Its more modern but not so CW drama, but still family friendly. Its really really good.
