Its only at a 50% off here in this region, so not a sale for me yet. Also still waiting for the Terminator game to be on a deep sale, or to be part of PS Plus. Personally I find that game to be more interesting than Robocop.

Bought it around 20$ two weeks ago, it was alreasy worth every penny.
If you ever wished to play an 80s actioner you must try this one.

Full auto auto 9 is crazy you blow up everything in your path, limbs included, as it's supposed to be when playing an 80s hero.

This is basically the RoboCop 3 we should have got. Game is pretty average overall, definitely "AA" but its a great one and done experience.
I bought it at full price and don't regret it as a huge fan of RoboCop.

One of the best games I ever played, I mean just the opening sequence where the Robocop theme starts, bullets flying, bad guys with cheese lines desperately trying to kill me, picking up stuff and even bodies and throwing against the bad guys...fuck it was like the movie(s) and I love it.

The semi world areas are nice and a lot of stuff to do and investigate, I enjoy it so much looking for people trying to break the law lolol....you feel almost invincible but at the sometimes when surrounded the bad guys can kill you.

Yeah sure the acting is bad....but honestly I freaking love it.
The first movie is probably top 5 of all time for me, and this game is a perfect homage.

I really hope they have a bigger budget and make a bigger game for a possible sequel.

My only regret is I didn't pay full price back then....also I will definitely play Terminator as well, if they used Terminator license in such respectfully way, the game must be fantastic.

Seeing 2 Steam key stores making a steep discount on this game, a day before the next Humble Bundle, makes me think it might be part of this Monthly Bundle.
I'm just speculating, but we'll find out in about 6 hours.

Bought this and System Shock together for, what, like $25 max? Cool. I was on the fence about both but...

Unpopular opinion: It's no doubt worth this price but I didn't think it was great. Combat was fairly unique in the sense of how weighty, slow and tank-like it was and made you feel like Robocop, but it got pretty repetitive fast with nothing else to really shout about.

Worth it for full price to be honest. Absolutely loved it. Probably my favourite game of 2023. It's amazing to think three of my favourite games from the past two years have been Alien, Robocop, and Indiana Jones. And all three were the best of their respective licenses. Give me more like this!

I'm a few hours into Robo and despite being a big fan of the first film, I really don't see the glowing praise here. It's...serviceable at best so far? The IP does very heavy lifting imo.

A lot of things that "are just Robocop" actively annoy me. The walking speed in the open area is frustrating and made me turn it off twice already and I'm not a fan of the complete lack of crouching, vaulting or ducking. It just kind of feels like a super-basic FPS with barebones level design because...Robocop. It's not translating into fun combat for me.

It's one of those games where I'm like alright, neat, and I'll keep playing but yea, I was expecting more. It's cool it even got made though so good on them.

I'm having the same feelings toward the game. I don't know how much longer I can push myself through the game before I ultimately drop it.

Ever since I saw the UEVR mod for this game, it looked like the gameplay made more sense in that form.

So much this...
I'm actually one of the idiots that spent full price on this based on the hype and I couldn't have regretted it more...

Just like you mentioned, The things that are supposed to make it feel like a Robocop game are actually detrimental to it, this is one of the most basic, slow and shallow games FPSs that I ever had the misfortune of playing, not only is it not a good FPS but the actual sandbox environments filled with collectibles and shitty side quests bring it even more down, this game literally put me to sleep a couple of times...
The thing is that this game's lows quantity wise are actually more compared to the highs, even the OG, kick-ass theme is COMPLETELY unearned whenever it kicks in...

Couple that with atrocious, creepy, The Sims-like character models and their awful animations, awful voice acting, questionable performance etc etc and the final product feels/is literally bargain bin material.

It's the most 4/10 game I've played in the last 10 years and I really, really don't get how or why it was praised as much.
