SEGA platformer recommendation

I'm thinking of picking up one of these games:
Billy Hatcher - 15€
Sonic Adventure 2:Battle - 19€

I actually liked the cheesy stuff in Sonic Adventure (especially the
real boss) and found most characters atleast enjoyable, except Amy and Big.

But I still prefer the more adventurous platformers like the Marios and Banjo Kazooie.
Which of these two games would you recommend?

If you haven't played Sonic Adventure 2 Battle before I suggest you get it!

I really liked it (except for the gem collecting parts ;))

SA2B is better than Hatcher, but both are good games. If you haven't played SA2 before, get it! The game absolutely rocks! If you HAVE, however, go for BH.

If you are talking about the "real boss" in SA1, you'll be in for a REAL treat with SA2. :) The only real problems I had with the game were the same as most people; the Knuckles/Rouge levels sucked.

My advice is skip Sega platformers entirely. If you want a good platform game, go for something from Nintendo (Mario), Sony (R&C, Sly, Ape Escape) or Capcom (Maximo, MegaMan).
