Hell no it doesn't. Not when you actually have a full island with items everywhere. It literally runs like 20fps, probably worse, most times. Believe me I have played like 1000 hours so my island is full full. It runs bad.

They almost always add something in. I would love SSBU Deluxe that adds a true Melee style adventure mode. That is the only improvement I can think of.

False, people need to stop repeating this. Upgrade packs are free for NSO + Expansion Pass holders. You need to pay for the expansion pass.

I think a lot of these games have dynamic res or framerate issues so it's probably just activating a boost mode. I'm glad they're doing it for free because it's Nintendo.
