Interview with Jamaal on Fox News was incredibly well spoken about what he witnessed and why he came out to peacefully porotest to work with and not against the police. My heart goes out to all of the police who have died and those who are still in critical condition.

I'm also glad Sheperd is the one covering this on Fox News rather than any of the other on this statiom.
Agreed Jamaal was on point.

Dunno why he brought the rifle but thank fuck somethings are getting cleared up but dammit, my FOX station in Phoenix is saying ITZHIM!

Without discussing his potential involvement in the shooting, you should understand that given the fact that two black men were just murdered while legally carrying firearms, open carrying at a protest as a black man in America is a protest statement within itself.

If you are talking about the Sterling and Castile shootings only one of them was legally carrying.

Thread is devolving just as quickly as the news updates. Can you people please f5 the thread at least once before posting something you think is news.

Glad that video existed. Glad one of the shooters was taken as well.

One of my concerns was of course the racial angle to this. That's still going to happen with some people. However that the Dallas police seem to be diverse and with a black police chief so that might blunt that so that doesn't become a dominating aspect of at least this part of the situation. That way more attention to be given to the lives lost and making sure who has done the shooting can be brought to justice.

Yep but you can't deny that fear that he was gonna get gunned down by those who didn't know he had a licence.

Like one of the men murdered earlier this week? Perfect reason to protest that black men should be able to open carry without fear.

I'm sorry if my English isn't very good right now, but when you say Thank Goodness about the guy who turned himsemf in, it's because he was misidentified and he might be protected in a police station or am I getting this wrong?
