Little bit slower in comedy the past three, but still crazy and entertaining for sure. Dude got a killer harem, but no action of course. Lots of moe warriors in this one for sure.

Sound! Euphonium - This was a really great show, I'm glad I popped into this thread to find out about it. I actually played the euphonium myself in middle school so it was good to see such an uncommon instrument getting some love lol. All of the characters were great, the music and visuals were great, and I'm hoping for a season 2 as well!

I think this was probably the one question about how they would arc the story, but since I found out that the novels are complete and that they have adapted most of them, this is really the only way it could have ended.
Although, that said, I just remembered that two PA Works shows end in the complete opposite way, perhaps in spite of audience expectations.

One stupid thing I noticed was that the piccolo player had a ridiculously high end piccolo and then the flute next to her had a ridiculously low end flute. It probably wasn't on purpose but it does show the weird discrepancies in instrument quality you would find in a high school band.

Yeah, this only adapts the first novel as that's what was written when they made a proposal to the publisher. Ishihara/Hanada included other stuff such as the depth on Natsuki/Yuko from novel 2 and a great homage to novel 3, but it was purely novel 1 material. There's two novels left and a lot of shorts if they chose to adapt those.

Euphonium was AOTS for me, no doubt about it. Kyoani proving that they can still make/adapt material with some substance to it.

Yeah Euphonium was the best for me. Then JoJo, then Soma, then Show by Rock, for the shows I enjoyed. Those weren't the only shows I watched but I don't really care about Punchline, BBB or Ore Monogatari a whole lot and I still don't know what to think of Ninja Slayer
