Steam will stop working on Windows 7 and Windows 8 in a few days

This is kinda sad, but i think it's called evolution, because they simply cannot support older version all the time. So i guess this is expected. I can say that i have problems with new version of Windows. Specifically 11 and believe that they should have delevop better version, but we have what we have really. And besides the problems can be solved with specialized software kms activator . It is still don't tragedy, but if they will develop Windows 12 with payments, well that would be tragedy

Steam did allow users to keep using it on Windows 7 and 8 for a bit longer, but now it's officially over.
The latest Steam version ended compatibility with these OSes, as of now.


This version of the Steam client will no longer run on Windows 7 or Windows 8. Users on these OS versions will not automatically update to this new version of the Steam Client. See the Windows 7 and Windows 8 Support FAQ for additional details.
