Clannad has a rather mediocre first half of the first season and is a great ride the rest of the way.
this is coming from someone whose knee jerk reaction to moe things is burn it with fire


on the flip side while I managed to force my way through kannon 2006 I wouldn't recommend that to anyone but lovers of brain damaged girls as every single girl says a different random nonsense noise at the end of every sentence, it's maddening and not cute @_@ (honestly the story wasn't too bad, but the girls completely and utterly ruined the show for me)

I can tolerate some moe things, and a random noise here and there isn't the end of the world, but when they use it at the end of every sentence where even I can notice that the sentence structure is horrible because of it even though I don't know must japanese it's an issue.

Also a girl is only allowed to trip over air once every two episodes, at any rate higher than that she needs to trip into some fire and exit from a series.

similar for making a dumb mistake than sticking out the tongue and punching herself in the side of the head, if this happens more than once every 3 episodes she needs to put that fist right through her head and end her run on a series >.>

to be fair there are a number of adoarble little scamps I don't mind such as the girl in Barakamon but she avoided most of the moe cliches that drive me nuts lol.

note: one of the best series with many moe characters, Higurashi as they die horribly mwa ha ha ha ha

I read KissXSis when I want some real ecchi, I watch Monster Musume (only on blu-ray

) when I want ecchi, I don't watch a fucking battle anime about heroes chosen by a goddess.

, but I really loved the battle scene, I'll give it 3 episodes just for that. Resourceful protagonists are so much more interesting than just dudes who are powerful and rek shit, or are fucking worthless but take power out of their ass to beat their oponents.

I don't read the manga, but they look somewhat reasonable by anime standards, not what I would call cowtits.

Quickly googled her to see the difference, and yeah, I do prefer the way she looks in the manga. And it made me sad to see how much better the art is there, damn that's a real downgrade.

Aha, well I can understand why people don't like certain things in anime, you listed some clichés that I imagine most don't enjoy seeing.

Akagami no Shirayuki - 01

Sleek animation and it looks pretty. I like the lighthearted facial expressions and tone in general. Soundtrack was on point as well. Shiruyaki and Zen's chemistry worked well, and the supporting cast did a nice job to enhance the comedic effects.
Overall I think it was good, let's see if they can keep this up. This isn't something I think I'd watch usually, but I'll stick around for a few more for sure.

This starts really slow and generic but it's a pretty good comedy later on. Like Nozaki-kun (which is way better don't get me wrong) if you are going to try to watch this as a Romance series I recommend you stop before you even watch the first episode, you will just get mad

Oh also I still don't like the designs. They just don't fit very well.

J.C. Staff is a perfectly average anime studio, and the quality of their productions depends on the staff handling each production. If the right people are working on a show, they can certainly put out great work (see Joshiraku, Tantei Opera Milky Holmes S1-2, Ano Natsu de Matteru, etc.).

Promotional art is usually drawn by some animator already involved in the production. For magazine posters, the magazine staff usually make requests of the anime staff as to the kind of artwork they want - put the main characters in swimsuits, for instance. Several magazines which commission this art specifically look for sexually provocative art to appeal to their readership, so magazine artwork may not always be representative of the content of the show which it represents. (What comes to mind immediately is some rather explicit bathtub artwork done for From the New World that had no analogue in the show proper.)
