I will say this, Sora version will have more emotional feeling when you watch it. You will understanding when you get there as you kinda wish it didn't happened but can't help but understand why the main character is doing it. Do hope you like the show.
Also, if you like a romance show that isn't Anime cliche you see in most anime, do look into Emma A Victorian Romance as I just finish the 2nd season in 1 day Marathon. The best way to say 2nd season is emotional roller coaster from beginning to end. Will make my impression of 2nd season and the whole series a bit.

Chaos Dragon - 01 & 02
This blows. I can't tell if it's the eyes, but something rubs me the wrong way in how this looks. Some scene transitions feels disjointed, like I dozed off for a minute and missed something in between.
I can't evoke any emotions during the "sacrifices" that they play up so dramatic because I don't give a fuck about any character! Action sequences are boring and the villains makes me cringe.
I think the only thing I liked from these two episodes was one dude's sword holster that looked like a gun wheel, that load turned and then shot out weapons.

Yuki, ahhh, so cute. Taroumaru is a cute dog too. Love the OP, very fun and up beat with a great animation. Kurumi, Mii, Rii, all the girls are pretty. The amount of cute and "moe" that School Live gives off is so much, so so so much! The way the first episode is setup is really neat, we're never shown the outside world, all the windows are really bright so we don't know what it's like until the "twist" occurs. I'm really curious about Yuki and why she sees things the way she does, it's very... interesting, mad interesting. The ED is really good too, I enjoyed it.
Is this a 1-cour or 2-cour show?

I looooooooooooooove the chibi Umaru, oh my "ahhhhhhhhhhh', yessss! Looking forward to more of the blue haired girl, she's awesome. I love the segment on eating foods that go great with cola, holy crap that was funny. Her brother has to deal with quite the handful, but Umaru is so much fun. I really like this one.
I like the art style, especially the way chibi Umaru is drawn, that's really great. Nice colors and detail where it needs to be. The sound effects used are really fun and cute, like when we first meet Umaru-chan and she crawls towards her food, the cute sound that went along with her crawl, ahhh, just so good. OP and ED are both really good and fun. Heck, this whole anime is just fun and cute, can't wait to see what else they can do.

Non Non Biyori ep. 1-6:
I don't even kow what to say about this one. It's a straight SoL with nothing but cuteness, more cuteness, a little comedy and not much else, lol. Renge is the cutest 1st grader ever and poor senpai, just keeps getting dumped on. A whole lot of anime cuteness in here. Entertaining to say the least.

This is one of those instances where I wish I could've gone in completely blind. I read the first few chapters of the manga before dropping it for some reason. Yuki is a fairly typical protagonist for the most part, except she ends up being one of the most bonkers protagonists in anime history. Shovel girl is cool. Should be a decent watch.

Never forget Moms lunches are the best and filled with lots of love. I really loved this episode and it made me crack up with different lunches Seita received. Loved the note Sa-chan left seriously leftovers ahahaha. Also that Toriko reference.

Aaaaand dropped. I stopped the minute they revealed the murderer.
Called it last week who the murderer was and I was right, even though I hoped I was wrong because it felt rather obvious to me.
Combine this with the whole lot of anime in this anime and I'm done. The protag, BL blushes, 120% anime teacher and the random as fuck autopsy report feel reaaally out of place, and the, in my opinion, rather weak mystery can't outbalance that.

Thanks for correcting me on Miyazaki with the Conan run stuff, I thought it was some random ass animator that I hadn't heard of. Miyazaki makes a lot more sense. I'll fix that in my post. Utsunomiya's style of running does seem more realistic in that when you run, your landing leg isn't completely straight but rather still bent.
Also did you pick up/understand Iso's instructions to the inbetweener? That section went completely beyond me.
Yea Yoshinari is a fairly serious person and if Imaishi is optimistic, Yoshinari is critical. Their personalities are pretty much on the opposite spectrum. At some point or another, he described Imaishi as Akko and him as Diana. If you haven't seen the "Making of Little Witch Academia" behind-the-scenes documentary, it gives you a fairly good insight into his personality. He's overly blunt at times.
On the note of Kawasumi, someone asked her to say "EXACLIBAH" during the FSN event and she was in a kimono. So she had to take an open leg stance to say it, as the line comes from her gut. Kinda cute.
A successful exercise in economic calculation maybe ? It's selling pretty decently for what it is IIRC.

They did a nice job with the cute stuff. I liked the breadcrumbs throughout like the writing on the board and the cross for examples.
The window scene was neat, with the wind still blowing and her not giving a fuck. Looking forward to how this plays out.

Barakanon ep 1-3
I don't know if I can handle all these cute anime series today, lol. This little cutie makes the show and if you put her and Renge together and my goodness, you could have a fun and energenic cast. I guess this will be a coming of age of sorts for Sensei in this one as he finds himself through his personal discourse, but his interactions with the kids like Naru and the other girls are excellant so far and we are only 3 episodes in. This should be an entertaining watch and I'll probably have enough time tomorrow to finish this and NNB, so it should be a great day!

Not completely. The way I understood it was in the context of the whole production being a lavish Super Animator party where they could do whatever they want, just because (aside - that's a big part of why I really like Space Dandy too). The specific thing he was talking about was when the other guy on the left comes in and starts tapping the main guy's belly.

Iso wanted to inject more life into the characters by animating the kinds of actions one does subconsciously, I guess like those hand taps, rather than a conscious action like them swinging their cups around. So I understood that part, but there were some more abstract explanations in it that I didn't fully catch.

Yeah if I there was a show that had both Naru and Renge together I'd probably die from cuteness overload.
Also I can't wait till you see best Mom introduced later on.
The whole ending part with the grocery store culminating in the flashback was the most adorable part of the episode. She's even more cute when she's trying really hard not to be herself. She seems to handle school just fine, but when she's along with her brother, it's much tougher to keep being her public figure.
Oh man, I'm already in love with this anime.
Haha, that's a great pickup. It was really noticeable during the ice cream scene, when she for a second gets really happy, but then decides to stay angry at him anyways, but when she got happy, it was more like... the chibi Umaru type of happy and not the Perfect Umaru type of happy, if you know what I mean. The dynamic is really great. I love it how she changes between chibi and normal Umaru too, that's such a neat thing to animate, a lot of this show is really well done.

as they seem really damn cool. I still need to watch the director's cut to figure out wtf happened at the end but overall great show. Can't wait to start in on Insight.

Yeah, yeah, exactly! The same for when she almost cried when she dropped it. She can't help but let bits and pieces of her chibi self show when she's around her brother. Which is natural, it's the only person she's used to be herself around, after all.

If you can handle waiting, I think it might be better to watch a couple episodes back to back, but if you can't wait, it's a pretty good first episode right off the bat.

Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions S2 ep. 7-END:

OK, I'll agree with everyone here; this was a big step down from Season 1. It was entertaining in a SoL kinda way, but even in the end, there was only a small step forward in character developement and story. I guess that was the creative story they were going for, or they were trying to keep the idea open for a third season. In the end, there was a very cute moment, but just felt meh in the grand scheme of things.... It's a shame because I enjoyed the first season with it's mix of feel good moments and comedy. Both where limited in the 2nd season. Overall, it's an enjoyable ride, but still a letdown from the Season 1 closing as I thought they were going to go deeper into watching Rikka outgrow and overcome her Chunibyo and deepen her relationship with her man. Instead, we got a demi- love triangle, teanage angst and some SoL fun.
I particularly love the eye design in Chuuni. One of KyoAni's most expressive designs I think. Very beautiful. Theyve always been outstanding at expressions and character design. As for story, as you can see its hit or miss lol. But I think it has more to do with the material they used rather than any lack of talent on KyoAni's part.
Honestly I havent come across this, but I have had rock solid fiber internet for years. I wonder if that makes a difference at all? I do get a occasional freeze, but stuttering definitely doesnt happen on my end.

Holy shit did this segment crack me up. Seriously nipples lol. Anyway this episode was quite different in the visual department than any Gintama episode. It felt different especially with all the city lights and everything. The episode itself was good and quite hilarious. The part where Gin said this one's for Krillin killed me.
Reaper-chan is pretty hilarious and cute herself, with her removing Gin's nipple. Great introduction to the serious arc so far.

Yeah, you guys were right, from the music in the OP through the presentation and setting, it's a very serene series.
It's only fitting that Gin's nipples get removed, the Monkey Hunter arc got his penis, the Onymoji arc got his balls, so there was only one organ of a somewhat sexual nature left to be fouled.
But there are nipples already.

We get more information about the "Dogtags", which seems to be the main mystery so far.
The sign language usage is really, really cool and I love the little details during the character interactions, like when Worick turned his back against Nicolas in the office and talks, the latter immediately moved up, so he could see his lip movement.
Seriously, I never thought a deaf character could be this interesting if done right.
There are also a few new characters introduced this episode. We have badass Doctor Theo and his cute little assisstant Nina and it looks like the girl has some backstory with Nicolas.
And we also get a look at what are probably going to be the main antagonists, though saying look is rather farfetched considering they are only shown in classic silhuette style with their face largely blacked out.
And on the topic of characters: We learn the full names of the two protags
Nicolas Brown and Worick Arcangelo. Goddammit, the Japanese and their western naming sense xD
The action segments also felt way better then last week. A few scenes felt weirdly slow, but all in all nothing dealbreaking for me here.

As a person who thinks Yui's mom is great the Mom that gets introduced later in Barakamon is far superior.
