If we're talking problems, the first is a man intentionally deceiving another man by pretending he's a woman and the logical conclusion had Mick's mate not stepped in. That's not good. The joke there is the karmic response in the reaction. It's also there to set up the later joke where it's all flipped on its head. It should be seen as sexual assault, but the joke is that she's not.

You can not like the joke of the time, but to ignore all context doesn't do the discussion any favours.

The only reason ANYONE is gonna watch CD today is for the "that's not a knife" scene and the crotch grab. It has no other pop culture imprint.

Though you could pair it with Romancing the Stone for a good examination of rugged men vs civilization and a woman's lust for taming the barbarian. Essentially Conan for chicks

I've been holding out for a nice 4k steelbook of Crocodile Dundee for quite some time now. I'm very disappointed to hear it has been ruined with a new edit called the "Encore Cut" to appease a modern audience.

I loved this film growing up and it has become a cult classic. I've no interest in watching this woke abomination edit let alone buying it.

I've been holding out for a nice 4k steelbook of Crocodile Dundee for quite some time now. I'm very disappointed to hear it has been ruined with a new edit called the "Encore Cut" to appease a modern audience.

You should watch the only version they have on streaming in the UK, low quality video and tons more scenes cut … badly cut too.

Had a look at Amazon UK, assuming I would be able to pick up 1 and 2 on DVD for cheap. To my surprise they're not common and not cheap.

I also found that there's a third one. It's on the blu-ray box set, but it's in a different region format so it doesn't play on most UK players.
