Shornhelm in Rivenspire is a great spot for a guild trader.
and also about rivenspire, I learned its the best place to craft because of the close location all the crafting stuff is, everything is really close, and that town is ALWAYS packed, I see more vets there than I see other levels sometimes. I personally go there when I want to craft. You got a cooking station directly behind the banker, and you got blacksmith, clothier, and woodworking directly across from the banker building. So crafters tend to go to those guild traders for crafting stuff to buy.
so anyone that went with alchemy or enchanting can tell me if they are worth it? went with provisioning myself, the food bonuses are crazy good so far but I don't know what I'm missing with alchemy or enchanting.
You guys worrying about having to go back to such and such town to use the guild store do know you can access the guild store from most banks, right?
It's just non guildies that have to go to where your bought guild trader is.
I am in a massive trade guild, i have no clue where our guild store is, I just check it from the bank everytime I come back to town.
I never understand what people mean when they ask, is something worth it.........worth what??? what is "IT"???
What we're talking about and what you think we're talking about are completely different topics.
Haha! Nice.![]()
I got 5 mules carrying all my shit. Im hoarding everything. lol
Question....
Should we start recruiting outside of Gaf?
They may not be able to post on Gaf but in our chat room at least.
worth leveling that crafting line, I meant.
I'm at work, but bout to put in my 4 weeks to go to a new job, if they immediately let me go here, I'll add you when I get homeNot while there's still GAFfers to invite (I really don't care).
Speaking of, may I join?PSN: MistaBowaa, NA Server. Not sure if I need to be online or not.

It's better if you research traits. There are some special equipment sets you can make at different locations depending on how many traits you know for each piece of armor or weapon. Can anyone give me any crafting advice, i've got Blacksmithing/Clothing and Woodworking up to 10, am I better off researching as much as I can rather than Deconstructing things and i've put a couple of skill points into those crafts should i carry on doing that, I can make basic stuff but nothing of any use, i'm level 30 btw.
Thanks in advance

Welp, I bet 40k in Rivenspire, and that didn't win us the bid. I sent out a notice asking everyone to donate atleast 100 gold a day instead of a week if they can. It seems we need to start bidding all the gold we have from this point forward to actually start winning these bids.
Share you guys thoughts about the guild trader and how we should approach this.
I'm open ears.
Did you lose that 40k or did you get it back minus minus a fee or something?Welp, I bet 40k in Rivenspire, and that didn't win us the bid. If I buy the Imperial Edition, can my existing non imperial characters convert their armor into Imperial armor?

A lot of these trading guilds have maxed out members (500 I think) who deposit thousands in gold a week. If we want to be competitive economically we need to expand beyond GAF.
I thought that there might be a percentage fee for biding win or loss. They fucking tax mail sent between players, I expected there to be a big fee for biding.Yea your right about having to expand.
But about the bid, nah man, of course we dont lose money when making a bid. It works exactly the same way as a ebay auction or any auction. Only the highest bidder pays anything. Not sure what made you think we lose money on bids.
How much money do we make off guild trader? Is it worth it at this point to invest in one? I'm in like this 1000 person guild that focuses primarily on trading, that's how I sell my stuff when we don't have guild trader.Welp, I bet 40k in Rivenspire, and that didn't win us the bid. If we bet 50k on a guild trader, will we make that money back in 7 days? Or will we be taking an hit, the active players in this OT does not equate to the number of people in the guild
Idk, the invite kind of just appeared one day while chilling in Daggerfall while eating some WheatiesHow do I get in on these massive trade guilds? I don't really go many places on the internetz other than GAF and occasionally CAG.

Is the EU PS4 guild still alive?
Alive in what way? We just got a Tabard, and the store is open for all Neogaf members but we don't have a trader. We would have had one in Cyrodill but we lost the keep and then got it back and some other guild jumped in. We also don't have as many active players as the US Guild though, were on like 53 members with what seems like half that are regularly on during the week randomly. You can check the Guild MOTD for the latest updates, I make sure to post the date.
As for the future of the Guild who knows, raising money isn't going anywhere at the moment, I tried at first to introduce having a small fee to use the store upgrade as a way to raise some funds for a first trader, but only one member did it. So I just opened it to all Neogaf members in the hopes players will want to put money in voluntarily. It can be hard though, there's a lot of massive guilds around at the moment with a hell of a lot more funds than we have to do stuff with.
It's really a kinda sucky system at the moment to be honest for smaller guilds, the big 500 people guilds are getting all the traders, and none of the smaller guilds can compete. Compared to other MMOs which just have a global auction house it kinda sucks hard in ESO, the guild system in general doesn't really lead anywhere either compared to other games, there's nothing long term to save up for.
So if you really want to get trading to make some money I would advise joining one of the bigger guilds at the same time, you can be in 5, so join a bunch.
I just bought the game and it's still updating. Would gladly join the GAF guild. My username is Jagaman7.

I just hit level 10 and have a few questions about campaigns.
Is it all pvp or is there any PVE/story stuff as well? Is there any suggestion on first one to join? Does pvp also make progress towards leveling up?
I like the game a lot, but I agree. Features like text chat and auction houses are in every MMO for a reason: they work. It's like ZOS wanted to differentiate themselves from the rest so much that they end up making some boneheaded decisions. Also for MMOs you need to listen your fanbase at least when it comes to features like those, and give them what they want, it seems to me like they don't really give a fuck about it though.Alive in what way? I'm about to start this so any general tips would be appreciated. I've played Elder Scrolls games since Morrowind but not any mmos.
Yeah, don't listen to me, that massive 1000 member trading guild I was speaking of is only like 220 members. How do I get in on these massive trade guilds? I don't really go many places on the internetz other than GAF and occasionally CAG.
Then again, people outside of Daggerfall would not be able to access our guild vendors
