Sorry if it's been asked, but I'm currently trying to catch up with some friends playing the game. What is the fastest way to level in the game?

Also is there a way to reallocate ability points at some point? I have a feeling I'm gonna want to do this.

Doing group dungeons levels you up pretty fast.

and yes you can respec. There are shrines you go to do so in some major cities. Depends what alliance your in but I know there is one in Mournhold if youre in Ebonheart.

The fastest I ever leveled up was when I was running dungeons. Aside from that, just do the main quests. There might be some guides online as well.

You can pay gold to reallocate the points in certain cities.

I think you need a character to be able to get an invite. Just post your gamertag once you've made your character. We're Daggerfall Coventant if you want to play with the guild.

If you look on the maps of some cities you'll see a symbol for shrine of Mara, there's 3 of them I believe. Akatosh, Mara and Stendarr? I'm playing right now, let me check. Nope I'm wrong. In mournhold the names are different. But Mara is still there. Going to go to the other city to check it out.


Ok, I've used the respec statues in Mournhold. So I know they're there. Traveled to Wayrest and there's also respec for Atributes, Abilities and morphs. I would say, look for shines of Mara or the equivalent Deity for your pact called redidication shrines.

So I tried spindle dungeon as a Templar as a healer and I couldn't keep people up. I did goin at level 11 so maybe that's why, but I'm almost 15 now so I'm gonna go retry it. It seems like the healing spells eat so much mana that I can't keep up.

I wonder if they'll ever let PC and PS4 play together since they do with FFXIV. I don't think MS will ever let cross play though.

Make sure you're using food/drinks/potions and that your armor and weapons are properly enchanted. A restoration staff with an absorb magicka enchant is what I've always rolled with. Do everything you can to boost your magicka pool and regen.

Are you on PS4? If you are, one of the higher level crafters can probably make you a full set of Seducer gear.

I'm level 27 now and haven't done any dungeons yet. If I use the dungeon finder, will it scale me down to the right level? I don't really want to end up in a situation where I'm 15 levels above the tank, keep pulling off him/her, but can't tank the stuff myself.

I haven't done any of the main quest since the second mission. I have Daughter of Giants sitting in my quest log. Do the story missions give you a lot of XP and skill points?

Same here. I just hit 25. I think I might go back to it this week.

I've been too interested in PvP and playing thief simulator.

The main quest line levels up your soul skill line, as far as I know there's no other way to, has a handy free raise every two hours and then one hour with the upgrade, also gives a skill point per quest. You also can't leave your alliances area unless you finish the main quest line, there should be one quest every 5 levels to do, the ones near your level give about the same xp as any other quest around your level as far as I can tell.

Each quest done in the harborrage gives like 500 gold, a blue ring and a skill point

So I'm doing this quest line, see a random quest giver, thought I grabbed the quest and jumped down to a lower level... Realize I didn't grab the quest...

Went back up there, a measly grunt enemy respawned...

Dammit, have to clear this guy out again

did the crypt of spirits with thanatos, fun as fuck. sorry about my crappy english btw, not my first language obviously I think I let out some words in spanish unconsciously when we were playing lol
