- Inside the Episode for this week
Syfy recently renewed The Expanse for a third season, but a fourth season seems unlikely if the ratings dont improve.

Meanwhile absolute trash fest shows continue to get multiple seasons.

Netflix, Hulu or Amazon ought to pick it up if SyFy cancels. I don't think Syfy channel handles high budget shows well. Every single one of my favorite shows on SyFy channel has never made it beyond a 3rd season. I really hope Expanse is an exception.
Cascade
Holden leads his crew through the war-torn and failing station on Ganymede. Errinwright and Avasarala have a confrontation that changes their relationship forever, and Bobbie discovers a side of Earth that shakes her basic understanding of her enemy.
That seems like pure conjecture based on it having low ratings at this point. SyFy wouldn't make a decision on 4th season renewal until next year. It only just got the third.
Yes it's logical if the ratings don't get better it wouldn't continue. But ratings were trash so far this year and it still got another season. Anything can happen. Domestic live ratings aren't everything.
I bought season 2 on amazon prime to support the show, how long till the newest episode is uploaded?
I thought was allowing cursing now, the censored Bobbi's "fuck"
Welcome to Episode 8 of The Churn, our post-show podcast about The Expanse. Each week during Season 2, The Expanse creators Ty Franck and Daniel Abraham (who you all know as James SA Corey) and Syfy Wire's resident The Expanse superfans -- Fangrrls Managing Editor Cher Martinetti and Editor-in-Chief Adam Swiderski -- take a deep dive into the latest episode.
We're only a few weeks away from the Season 2 finale, and the tension and pace show no sign of letting up. After testifying about the events on Ganymede, Bobbie Draper pulls a jailbreak and takes to the streets in search of the ocean. When she finally finds it, Avasarala finds her and drops some hard-hitting truth in her lap. Meanwhile, Holden and crew enlist a chicken-loving weirdo to help track down Prax's daughter. Actor Shawn Doyle joins us to talk about Errinwright's current situation and where he goes from here.
Book 2 Spoilers
I never understood what "Caliban" in Caliban's War referred to, was "project caliban" ever mentioned in the book? I don't even remember the creatures being mars experiments.

Oh god, the drug dealer doctor gave some Kara Thrace flashback...
What's the consensus on season 2 so far? I saw all of S1 but I'm not sure if I wanna watch S2. Thoughts on how it compares?

Not on Space!
Some very unexpected changes from the book, but still a solid EP.
Dat Ashur.
Big step up from season 1, especially the first few episodes of s2.What's the consensus on season 2 so far? I saw all of S1 but I'm not sure if I wanna watch S2. Thoughts on how it compares?
Amos is the man.
Caliban is referring to the deformed human from The Tempest (Shakespeare). I don't recall if they ever say the name of the project, but I'm pretty sure the protomolecule experiments were Mao-Kwikowski and some UN (Errinwright) in the book? Mars doesn't come into play for a long while. The show has pretty much changed the Errinwright character though, among many other things.

I'm not sold on Draper. She's not as good as the book version, in fact she comes across like a bratty child at times.

That's who she reminds me of! I couldn't think of it.She keeps reminding me of Ronda Rousey.

Examining the science behind The Expanse Season 2, Episode 10 "Cascade". Careful for spoilers! Commentary on depictions of science in this week's episode related to Hydroponic Farming, Moving and Fighting in low gravity, and some estimates on the Geography of New York City in the Future.
Three more episodes this season. I would expect S3 sometime during the first half of 2018.So is this season over? Do we know when we can expect season 3?
