I don't get the salt against Red Dead, it IS that good. I get that some people want other things to win X award, but I can't complain when something like Red Dead 2 wins. It's not like some shit game is taking the award away from a good game.

You’re missing the point. RDR2 did not deserve to win the music award. This is more of a popularity contest.

I wouldn't mind launchers if they were all as unobtrusive as Steam which will stay nicely in compact mode forever if I wish it to but stuff like BattleNet and others have no such mode and even have to inexplicably show their full window view every time I launch a game even if I launch it from right clicking on the tray icons or from a shortcut, last I tried uplay also showed a window dialogue after exiting the game of some sort, dunno if it still does, etc. Steam gets a lot of flak but it's the most intrusiveness for me, not that it can't improve. Epic has a lot to prove but Fortnite enables them to have a chance, if Fortnite players who already have the client actually buy games and we don't see all these exclusives rush to Steam after whatever exclusivity period ends in an effort to get some more much needed sales...
