I don't get why Sony fans are upset. Surely they have a PC that can run it. It's not that demanding of a game.
In fact, Sony fans should be happy that the Xbone version is the shittiest version.
yup.
and yup.
Nobody should be surprised that there is blowback from the hardcore shooter crowd who have chosen not to buy into the Microsoft ecosystem this time around. Rightly or wrongly, many feel that MS has paid money to prevent them from playing the game. It will be interesting to see how much damage it does to the long term health of the franchise.
EA management is shortsighted sometimes. But then again, they don't own the IP, so why would they care about its long term health?
Lol you must be taking the piss...right ?
Why would you own a PS4 if you have a PC you use to play games with?
Why? Does the Xbone version run better than the PC version?
yup.

Jesus.
So, is there a decent discount on the PC version anywhere?
What is this? Hasn't exclusivity (timed or indefinite) always been a part of the game? How is Microsoft any more "nefarious" for employing it? Jeez.
Who's settling? In the blurb that you quoted, Baker explained we're shooting to eventually get to or beyond 900p:
http://arstechnica.com/gaming/2014/...e-xbox-one-titanfalls-792p-resolution-likely/
Why would people be happy about it? Sony fans as you said. How does it benefit them personally? Is this the sort of characters in the gaming community now?

there are always lots of angry people.
Wow. Just popped onto the meta-critic for Titanfall. I don't care what people say. All those 0 reviews are ridiculous. That is pure, unadulterated, fanboy hate right there. So damn pathetic.
Titanfall is so revolucionary as Halo Combat Evolved was, the game is one of a short quantity witch is all in Multiplayer mode, the game has a nice campaign, considering that the campaign is online, it's a nice campaign, with a begining, a middle and an end, a complete chronology.
Awesome game ignore the reviews by Sony fans who are only giving bad reviews because they can't play it! Game is great best new FPS in years. Runs great as well Microsoft's Azure data centres are amazing getting 29ms ping. Silky smooth.
This Game is absolutly AWESOME. It is an non stop action game, sometime you need to stop just for breath a little bit.
TitanFall has set a new defenition to shooters with their fast paced action that blows your mind. No other FPS has ever set the bar this high for other games to compete with. I truly have no problems whatsoever with the framerate dropping like many say. For the people experiencing this, wait a day or two and with will be fixed with a patch, just like in DR3.
There is a difference between developing your own games and paying so a certain game won't get released in another platform.
Making this a common practice will bite MS back in the future, specially if the XBOne install base falls behind the PS4.
Well, I'm not psychiatrist, but I've been in the game for 33 years, and my observations reveal that that's just how it is.
And what about the glowing 10s? Are they ridiculous too? Or does it just swing one way?
The delusion and fanboyism goes both ways. We should be able to agree that MC user critics are useless, on both end of the spectrum.
I've being playing games for 20 years, I don't know if that count as new for you.Are you new to gaming??
I never bother with Metacritic users review, they're equally ridiculous on each end of the spectrum, haters or fanboys. We don't even know if half of them even played the game.
If you take the time to go through the whole thing, you will realize there are more people bashing the game, giving it 0s and 1s for no reasons than people giving it 10s for no reason. If you haven't played the game or are purely salty, there is no reason you should be bringing a game down on metacritic. Game is good, pure and simple, and I can say that from having actually spent some time with the game. Although it's a matter of opinion, the 85 average is very well deserved, as the game is easily a 7.5 at minimum. Anything under and either you are a fanboy, or you don't like shooters, but can still see potential in then game, but no way in hell is this game a 0/10.
Them Sony fanboys salty tears!
Buying third party exclusives isn't new at all, but it's unusual now. Really we only saw MGS4 last generation, Sony had FFXIII and Versus XIII, but neither remained exclusive until launch, they had GTA, but they didn't happen either.I've being playing games for 20 years, I don't know if that count as new for you.
Money hatting entire games isn't standard practice (aside from MS), usually the platform holder will at least fund/publish the game.
MS is like a racer that is overly preoccupied with where everyone else is at, instead of trusting in themselves and doing their best. They are usually behind the trends of keeping things away from other platforms (even their own).
so how many maps and what not IS there available?
What is in this 50gb install on pc?

GT ring a bell??.
GT? I can't understand that. You cannot be serious with this. Final Fantasy, GTA, GT ring a bell??
Oh that's right, when Sony does it, its not moneyhatting.
No need to offend me man. I own a PC and I don't plan on playing Titanfall for now, I was actually in the beta, not the type of game I like.Tons of third party games have been exclusive In the past gta on ps2 for example or better yet deep down on ps4 is third party exclusive and no one on Xbox is whining that Sony isn't playing fair. If you are that salty and want to play Titanfall that bad get an xbone or a gaming pc problem solved.
Excellent
GT? I can't understand that.
When was GTA exclusive?
Which FF are you referring to?

GTA 3, Vice City for a while.
FF pre-13.
GTA was definitely money-hat. It was scummy then, it is scummy now.
As for FF, was it money-hat though? Back then PS2 was king, and remember that Japanese developer approach back then was building games specific to the platform. Multiplatform approach was rare back then, which is why we often hear apparently how difficult it is for Japanese devs to port games specifically coded for PS2 over.
