So apparently, my niece played Barbie Horse Adventures and Hannah Montana for Platinums in my profile (I swear you fucks, it really wasn't me). I only did Terminator Salvation if we're going to judge me.

I have decided to become proud of these absolute wonderful achievements as legacy AND my degenerate behavior to display them to the world. But I hid them on both Vita and PS3 like 6 or 7 years ago. I can't register them on trophy sites. I tried the PS4 and PS5 and there isn't any option to undo hidden trophies for these games on the platforms I hid them on and I don't have the consoles anymore. Any solutions boys or girls?

I am not subbing to PS+ and its gay ass Streaming service for this to work.

Not aware of a way to unhide PS3 or Vita games on PS5 other than through the PS3 menu while streaming. Time to ask the obvious questions. Do other PS3 or Vita games show up on PS4? Did you go to the menu that specifically says Hidden Games for PS3 and Vita option in the hidden games menu under privacy settings?

Alright, I'll admit it. When I was a kid, after many trips to the video store renting games like Megman, Turtles and Darkwing Duck, I decided to rent Barbie. Not because I had any interest in Barbie, but more for science to try and understand what the difference was between a boys game and a girls game, like what the heck did they even do in it?? What do girls play, and are they dumb for liking it? Is it a normal action game, but with a Barbie skin shooting hearts? Or some other alien female language of game I can't even comprehend? Will it be a gateway drug for my sister to become Luigi, or a bad influence to seal away lest the NES get hogged all day raising ponies?

I'm pretty sure no human being of any gender ever liked it, it was just an unplayable shitty action game that looked terrible.

I started platinum hunting after "accidentaly" getting one for completing Telltales mediocre Game of Thrones game. It was such an eyesore that I decided to platinum Dark Souls in an effort to cleanse my spirit. This lead to me realizing just how much I missed in the game which led me to platinuming the rest of the DS games, Bloodborne etc.

Sometimes that OCD is a bit of a pain in the ass, but I'm limiting it to good games that feel worthwhile/rewarding or simply pretty easy (Horizon games, Spiderman for example).

It doesn't show up on either PS4 or 5 unfortunately. So I am guessing Sony really fucked up and its not a universal system. I think I'll just need to rebuy the consoles or steal one from random Gaf members.

Be honest my friend, it has happened to all of us that we wanted to play and collect trophies. I have Gollum trophies and I am not ashamed.

What's more, I was going to buy those games for the simple trophies and I'm not ashamed to admit it.

I really like the aesthetics of many trophies.

Don't worry those type of platinums are no longer frowned upon after the advent of shovel ware. Those 10 minute tap X plats.

Got my 250th Plat last week. (Persona 3 ReLoad)

Having a kid drastically slowed down my Trophy farming (I really don't mind, love the little guy) but I'll still keep going.

Wish I could delete some of my trophies tho... Not proud of getting all the Auto Plat from transfering PS4 Saves to PS5. I have 19 underseved auto Plat games... I enjoyed watching the numbers go up at the time but now it feels a bit off.

I was deep into them from Xbox 360 / PS3 until about mid cycle PS4. I then realised that I was torturing myself by playing games in a way I normally wouldn't.
Whether it was slogging through a bad or even terrible game to just finish it and move on or, this for me was the eye opening point, grinding in a game you really liked, but trophy hunting made you really dislike the game. That's when I weened myself off them and eventually no longer cared about them.

Demon's souls on PS3 (my first import) took me about 36 real-life hours of grinding over a few days to get a drop (pure bladestone) for my last trophy. The run was about 30 seconds, including the fight, so you could imagine how that felt. I had to take a break of like a year from it and I loved the game.
