For a lot of people Uncharted 2 was not the best game of the year.

Not to mention it was only on one console.

Did Force Unleashed even sell well? I feel like it hit the bargain prices fast and they're trying to make up some sales with the USE, which I've already seen go for less than retail.

Unleashed 2. Gues now I've to play the last one. It looks great, just like the last one did. But I'm afraid I shouldn't judge a book by it's cover....

I liked the game....but I had to drop the difficulty down to easy to find the fun code. On anything higher, it was horribly frustrating.

Uncharted 2 got snubbed like a mofo. :lol @ all the bitter people claiming the awards are given based on sales. IW lost to Rocksteady! It's that simple.

Overall surprising week. Avatar got astounding reviews, Uncharted did poor in sales (surprising to me) and the 360 beat the PS3 in Novemeber (once again, surprising to me).

awesome show...i haven't felt like wasting my time as much as i do this moment in a long time. audio stream would have been enough since the fixed camera is utterly useless...

Its based on what appeals the most to Spike's demographics. The people who watch Spike are mostly idiots. Hence....

That's like saying "The Phantom Menace is a better movie than Citizen Kane, because I've never seen Citizen Kane."

It's probably the most acclaimed game of the year, deal with it.

Star Wars announcements I would have liked might have involved the following franchises: KOTOR, Dark Forces/Jedi Knight, Rogue Squadron, Battlefront, anything with X-wings and Tie-fighters in...

but no. Force Unleashed. FML.

Force Unleashed wasn't a bad game, but the combat was incredibly shallow and the novelty of throwing dudes and making them spin around got old quick. If they can fix that, then the game should be pretty good.

What has that got to do with anything? Because it's not available on Xbox 360 or PC it shouldn't get the award? I don't see how this makes it a lesser game.
