Looks like Perp games is about to have it's own showcase for PSVR2 right before launch. They handle numerous games and look to be one of the premier publishers that will be supporting the PlayStation VR2 platform.
They claim that there will be new announcements and surprises so hopefully that means we see some new quality games in the launch line up to incentivize gamers to go out and grab one. Starts tomorrow and was just announced out the blue, so I'm assuming they must have some good stuff ready.
Sony may have been shy showcasing PSVR2’s eclectic slate of software, but Perp Games is going all in. The publisher has announced a livestream, scheduled to get underway from 10AM PT on 30th January, which promises “new announcements and a few surprises” for the new-gen headset. The firm is already handling the physical releases of several virtual reality titles, including Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge and Song in the Smoke Rekindled.
We’d anticipate this broadcast will retread a lot of familiar ground, although it’ll likely include brand new footage of the aforementioned games. We suppose it’s those “surprises” that fans will be looking out for – there’s already a lot to look forward to on PSVR2, but given the price and promise of the hardware, there’s always room for more, isn’t there?
In case you’re not sure what time to tune in to this livestream in your country, we’ve included a handy time guide below:
- North America: 10am PST / 11am MST / 12pm CST / 1pm EST
- UK/Ire: 6pm GMT
- Europe: 7pm CET / 8pm EET
- Asia/Oceania: 3am JST / 2am AWST / 5am AEDT
