I would have preferred a new Quake as well, and then them go back to Doom nextgen to melt our faces with it again. But this Doom so far looks kinda like a mix between Doom and Quake. We will know more today for sure at least.

This is how these shows end up disappointing people. MS foolishly mentions there's a mystery game instead of just doing it during the show. People run wild with it and think it's Ninja Gaiden in GamePass.
So if it ends up not being Ninja Gaiden or not being in GamePass it's a disappointment. People care more about some mystery game than letting the other games shine. etc.

Honestly I don't see Koei Tecmo making another 3d Ninja Gaiden.

Although I really would want that. Considering the work they did on Nioh 1 and 2, in which you can equip full Shinobi armor, which is fucking awesome.

I love Nioh but I wouldnt mind a real action game from them.

Yeah MechAssault was the shit. My mom bought me the Xbox bundle at Price Club for Christmas in 2002. Came with MechAssault and Halo. I couldn't believe how nice the games looked and ran compared to PS2. That's what turned me into an Xbro for 20 years.

This was one of my other favorite games. Played it for hundreds of hours with custom tunes playing on the Xbox harddrive.

I really think developers in general should alternate between IP. I think it would really help with sales. I'm excited for Dark Ages, but I would much prefer Quake, just because the recent Doom games don't feel old

Can’t say I’m hyped for this one bit. I think what I still want the absolute most is the ability to play all my 360 and OG Xbox games via remote play. While they can be played on the Series X, for some reason, Microsoft doesn’t let us play them via remote play. Also, some can be played on Xcloud, so I don’t know what the deal is with that.

Doubt it. I'm already starting to see stores with zero stock while the playstation side is fully stocked. I think they slowed down production a lot.

That's fine but I just think it'd be too samey compared to 5 and 3. Obviously depends on where they focus on though. And yeah it should be Japan. It's a great match for the game but people have been saying that for a decade.
