Wanted to get sea of stars today. Got it earlier in the day thinking the sale is live but it wasn't on discount. All good as I really want to play it on steam deck.

Check outer wilds a few hours later then see sea of stars is now $10 less than what I paid for it.

Wtf….
Should be easy to refund and rebuy to save that $10

How good is the PC version? Not sure if I want to get it for PC or the Super Famicom.
The game on PC supports widescreen resolutions, has (most) of the PS1 anime cutscenes, and most of the "extras" that were included in the DS release. This also includes Steam achievements. Personally, I think it's the best way to play the game - but there are some people who think the DS version is superior. The DS version includes a dungeon called The Arena of Ages, that isn't in the PC version. The interface is also quite different, as it's made for dual screens. But, it's hard to go wrong for $3.74 for such a classic.

Thanks I'll grab it then (not sure why I thought it was a SFC game when it is PS1).

Steam doesn't issue instant refunds. I'd be waiting about a week for it to appear in my wallet then I can rebuy.

Not worth it.

Refunded chrono cross instead since that was a pile of shit port.

Green Man Gaming has their Square Enix deals up on the site, and are quite a bit cheaper than Steam's price (once you're logged into the site).

Kingdom Hearts full package: $49.19

Fantasian Neo Dimension: $30.74

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth: $40.17

All games:

(select "Square Enix" on the right filter list)

Got The Witcher 3 for a fiver. Never played a Witcher game before and know nothing about them apart from this apparently being one of the best games you can buy. Hopefully I'll look back on this purchase further down the line and think it was one of the best fivers I've ever spent

Haven't used Steam in a long time and have some old tradable games (FTL and Fall Out New Vegas) in my inventory that I'd like to trade for some indie games. Sorry if this is a dumb question but where do people go to find trades?

Picked up Plucky Squire and Street Fighter 6. 🙏 I think that's it for me for this one unless I pick up Beyond Hanwell. It looks too scary though lol

Might grab Resident Evil for the Steam Deck. Fly Knight looks interesting. Tempted to grab that.
I was interested in Fly Knight when I stumbled upon it on Twitter some months ago - it was free to download at that time, but there was no option to invert the mouse, so I just had to let it be. I was surprised to see it pop up on Steam for sale later on! I hear you can invert the mouse in the paid version, makes sense. I might also check it out, supposed to be King's Field inspired.

The only downside with Fly Knight seems to be that it's ridiculously short.

I don't deal with that sort of stuff, but if you have delisted games, they're worth a lot. Angry Birds Space for example is highly sought after.

Picked up some more Local MP games:
Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime - was big hit with the family.
Neon Chrome - didn't get chance to play yet, but 4 player twin stick shooters is usually gonna be fun.

Only got two games this time around.

Lost in Random - I thought the demo for their new Roguelike "The Eternal Die" was really good but had never played the original so for only 3eu it's a no brainer.

R.E.P.O. - Seen this game become the new viral sensation but never realized this is from the dev of one of my favorite, but criminally overlooked, Roguelikes "Voidigo". Had to grab it on that alone! So happy that these devs have found such massive success as their previous game is full of charm, polish and a hefty dose of content as well. Very much deserved.

Been trying to find a good jrpg on sale that runs 60fps on steam deck without looking like dog shit.

Any suggestions?

I picked up:

and

As I was after a bit of point-and-click goodness. Four Last Things is great so far (not sure how long it will be).

Tempted by RimWorld. How good is it? I know it has rave reviews on Steam and the premise seems really interesting. Trailers do nothing for me though to be honest. I've been watching a lot of Dr Stone recently and really want to play something where you build a colony from scratch and have tech trees, research new stuff to ultimately rebuild civilization.

Dwarf fortress perhaps?

If the art and pixel graphic is not something that bothers you should give it a go. It's very detailed and you may experience some scenarios which are wild in building a colony.
