Man I love this performance so much, probably watched this one alone like (not exaggerating) for hours in the last week alone. Especially love their outfits and styling in this one. And since Danielle is wearing a black skirt with a white sleevless top I immediately have some Tifa associations with this, which makes it all the better. Also there's just something special about the performances in which they just started out, where all of this performing on music shows and such was still very new for them. Thank God for Idols.

I was recommended this also. Interesting that someone would try to pass off an AI fake in this genre as period.
Never considered that... modern A.I. generating music that it thinks the past thought was futuristic...

Man I just love these really traditional idol songs. Like honestly I've listened to something like this probably like at least a couple of hundred times, that song is so far away from being "original" even AI would call it slop. But I just love their energy, their youthful enthusiasm and how the crowd is into it. That's what these performances are about and they just capture it perfectly here. I could (and I'm on my way to) listen to this for hours

you can tell Rage named themselves before being googleable was important 🤣

they must have the worst band name for discoverability. not only is it a single generic noun, but also gets you autosuggestions for Rage Against the Machine if you type it into anything. I always chuckle a bit seeing that.

Miss these guys. Such a major record for me growing up. And ironically used to pop the CD into my 1996 Packard Bell and played Quake 1 to it.
