What have you just bought?

I have it on DVD, but I'm in the process of getting everything in the highest quality possible.

Ouch. Most 80's and 90's films I have are in 1080p as I find the quality stays about the same any higher than that. What's really bad is when they would take the DVD transfer and dump it on BluRay. New Line Cinema was really bad at this.

What are the specs and model
This hp gaming laptop I got on sale. It's got a rtx 2050, amd ryzen 5 and 16gb ram. It's nothing that'll blow anyone's socks off, but I just wanted a reasonably priced computer with some degree of gaming capability. Also I'm way too lazy to build my own.

Some bespoke Air Jordans. I went tame with the design this time around to test out the service and quality. The next pair I design are going to be much more colorful and with more than two types of material for the base.

I just bought a Sega Saturn for $40! I'm super stoked, it's the one console I was missing that I really wanted.

This thread is making me want to buy a new car. But I work from home and live downtown so I hardly ever drive.

Maybe I'll get that '64 Mustang I've always wanted and drive it around the neighborhood showing off how much of a midlife crisis I am totally not having. Or I'll just buy another Mini Cooper. Eh.

A whole bunch of clothing that I'm not going to post (Dockers chinos, RL polo, some t-shirts) but this is probably my fav:

And also this vinyl record, a classic that I still like a lot

2024 Chevy Malibu. Not nearly as good as you fancy folks' cars but it's good enough for this guy. Got it for a great deal and that's all that matters to me.

Hey mines old and you easily paid much more than I did. Nothing like the peace of mind of having a brand new vehicle. I just completed some major repairs on mine which I had just bought a week prior (I did expect to have to do the repairs though).

Finally bought a pair of black boots. Went with Red Wing because they've yet to let me down. My Iron Rangers are a decade old and still holding up extremely well. I've got another pair of discontinued boots from my more industrial days that I use as chore boots. Those will outlive me.

I just bought a Traeger flat top grill from amazon. It arrived today and it has several paint issues. So traeger is sending a new grill.

You know what. The first time I was in Newcastle I hung out with some college dudes and that was the record they always put on when we got back to theirs after the clubs. The day before I was due to fly back home I must've gone round every record shop in town looking for that thing. Eventually I found a little shop that had it, so I asked the dude if they had more like it. I ended up leaving with a bunch of stuff from Ninja Tune and Warp.

VBar NEO VBasic Receiver + VBAR Pro upgrade. They make these things in different models anywhere from $119 all the way up to $300, all the hardware inside is the same exact thing, but you gotta pay $137 euros to enable it through software. Good thing is that if it somehow is defective, you just have to pay $119.99 again and have the license transfered, instead of buying lets say a more expensive sku and then only transferring over a step down in terms of software and paying more for the replacement hardware. Made in Germany, I also have the Mikado VControl Touch that goes with it. The more you know.

Two things, I sent my VHS copy of The Matrix SCREENER for CGC grading and preordered Robocop 2 on UHD with poster+alternative slipcover.
