Anybody try Assetto Corsa on the Xbox One X? I know it is not an enhanced game, but just wondering how it runs on the "X". Project Cars 1 runs fantastic on the "X" so hoping that Corsa is at least somewhat better than vanilla Xbox One.

Heads up. Rise of the Tomb Raider, Halo 5 and others are on sale right now. ROTR ($20) supposedly looks dope on the X. Insta-copped.

I bought it when it was first released, did have a few technical issues but I enjoyed it, it was fun. I'm just playing through it again with the recent update. When's the enhanced version due to be released?

Don't think Bethesda have ever said there would be a Doom patch - certainly wasn't mentioned on their list of games which will do.

I suspect that all the relevant people who could have been working on a patch have had their hands full getting Wolfenstein out the door.

Machine Games may have been handling the narrative/design side of the game, but the tech side was still Id, and there are some substantial improvements to the engine in Wolfenstein compared to DOOM.

Sure, but this could generate a ton of extra sales this time of year. You’d be nuts not to spend a few days working on a patch.

The HDR in ReCore seems no worse than many other games. It just requires fiddling with both the TV and in-game settings to get it looking right which is very common with HDR gaming. Looks nicer once your inside a cave and not outside. The game is not a graphical showcase regardless, but it might be fun to play based on the 15 minutes I spent with it the other night.

Just bought dead rising 4 for 16 from the xbox bf sale. Wanting as many good enhanced games as I can get lol. Also got cod ww2 for 45 off eBay and bf1 premium for 15. Then got the xbox game pass for $1 to get recore lol

Is that normal that I have to download the patch for ReCore even I just have an Xbox One S? I didn't activate downloads for the X enhanced games (of course...) but this update seem to be mendatory since I can't launch the game without installing it. Is there something else in the update than the enhanced features?

Doom was made by Id software not Machine Games.

Wolfenstein didn't cause a lack of Doom patch.

probably isn't 4k... it'll probably dynamically scale between 1440p and below 4K, I guess. the official marketing all just says ultra high res. if it was 4k they'd have likely used that instead.

should have HDR though of course... HDR was best part on the Pro version, too. cuz the vibrant environments that it has to begin with, think it's a game that especially benefits from it.

OneX version should have a higher quality texture pack too though I've read. dunno if it's the 'ultra' textures from PC, or something in between the previous console textures and that, but it should be one level above what XBO/PS4 have now.

So if all Bethesda is doing with Skyrim on Xbox One X is dynamic 4K resolution, what the bloody hell is taking so long ?

My pc gtx 970 wasnt putting out textures like this. The x1x really has tremendous texture potential if devs tap into it Titanfall 2 looks incredible and these are 1080p shots

It's a solid game. I never played it when it came out but I saw it for £12 with the DLC, noticed it was X patched and gave it a go. I ended up enjoying it quite a bit, DLC was short but good.

I wish they put the full TimeSplitters 2 in it though instead of just a couple of levels.

what? 970 definitely can use the highest texture in the game, mine can, unless you are talking about the resolution boost. I Play mine in 1800p with dynamic scaling on, works well enough with some drop here and there.

What's your TF2 file size? I've not received updates for it since the first enhanced patch so I'm pretty certain I've not had the latest patch that was meant to fix the enhancements

I was playing Sunset Overdrive today and it seems an awful lot more fluid than I remember, but I didn't play it much previously. I'm guessing that the frame rate is better, even without an official patch to do any more. Has anyone else tried it? I got it free as a Games With Gold and it feels smooth enough now to be well worth getting into.

I jumped in for a bit recently and it did seem smoother. The colors in this game pop so hard...HDR would be incredible. Also increased res and draw distance would be nice. Looking unlikely, but this game would be an enhanced showcase.

RotTR look amazing and I love that you can switch the game modes on the fly.

Gears 4 I'll save until I get my 4K HDR TV in a few weeks.
