Well, I went ahead and ordered the PS5 version as it looks much better than the Switch and 60fps. Looked great in videos. I really shouldn't have, as I have Spiderman 2, Starfield, Like A Dragon Man Who Erased His Name, Crew 2, Baldur's Gate 3, Super Mario Wonder, Deathsmiles 1&2 and Super Mario RPG coming Friday. Really didn't need the game.......but I have no self-control......

Yeah IMO it gets much better when you get some more party members and get off the first continent. I always felt that the slow start was its biggest weakness.

I'm not a fan of 4 and 6 (although like 3) and 2 is much better than the newer games. Pacing improves the further you get in.

That does make me feel a little bit better, but i think i will wait for a sale.

Do you need to play the whole game with both characters?

Absolutely deserved. The game is fucking great, and is a great rerelease of the original with some nice things added.

I think so as each route has unique scenarios.

Xenogears would be great, but then again so would a full blown big budget remake like FFVIIR style. Probably won't get that but this style of remake seems realistic.
