Crazy take. These two games couldn't be more different. The only thing Avowed has going for it is combat.

It’s not a bad game by any means. The game looks pretty damn good. I’m not worried about the colorful visuals, it’s a fantasy game with weird looking characters. I’ve been enjoying it. I can see why some may not be happy if they were expecting dark fantasy from the first trailer. The gameplay is good especially in first person for this type of game and moves along briskly. I don’t know if it would ever stand out as a memorable game but there is something intriguing about it where I want to go back and explore. As far as the story goes no fucks are given so I couldn’t tell you how that goes either good or bad.

I haven’t put anytime to that game although I have heard good things about it. May give it shot afterwards seeing how this game plays out for me.
