I think the only reliable Sony leaker is bilbil-kun cuz he works at some marketing chain company that works for Sony (hence the Astrobot leak via the print materials). Grubb was always a hack and a clown, but it's nice to see that the shit-firecracker has finally exploded in his hands.

It almost feels like Sony isn't really fussed with showcases at all. Just randomly announce singular games, ie the Lego horizon one, then maybe do a state of play about it close to release. If they do that 4-5 ish times a year, spread out as and when studios are ready with their trailers and at appropriate times, then that's everything they would have previously slapped into a bi yearly showcase. It's a much less exciting way to do it, but is probably less stress on the devs and likely gives more breathing space and attention to each individual game vs getting lost in the noise of a big blow out. Also means they don't need to slap together expensive cgi trailers for games that haven't even started dev yet and are the best part of a decade away from launch. 🤷‍♂️….like it's crap for enthusiasts, but for everything else I can see that approach making sense.

Edit: case in point, I've just seen a silent hill showcase has been announced for may30th, again stuff that would normally have been included in a Sony showcase, but now just done as it's own thing randomly ahead of launch.

I dont think so, not for their bigger games, a State of Play maybe, but they rarely do individual announcements.

Also, LEGO Horizon Adventures hasn't been announced yet has it? it's all rumour last I heard

Appointed Playstation CEOs will start form June 1st and due to multitude of reasons I'm sure thath showcase would happen only after that date. Maybe even in late summer due to Pro model tie-in. And I'm sure new Astro game will again act as a new hardware showcase too.

You really think the new Astro game will be used to showcase new hardware??

Rescue Mission can probably run on a PS4

So we are waiting for this PS State of Play announcement and someone at MS just waiting to push the COD Gamepass day one announcement that is supposed to go live in a little over 2 hours

Do you have anything to prove this?
Yes I said can be double checked comparing Bluepoint people credited in the GoWR game credits and their LinkedIn studio page. You'll see their basically the same people excluding a few who left and a few who were hired after GoWR. You can also click on the personal linkedin page of these people and you'll see that -for those who have it updated and detailed the projects- it's the case.

They themselves confirmed they are working on many projects, so this "their whole studio", I don't see anything from them confirming this.
This is a lie, they never said to be working on multiple games at the same time.

lol, no sir...I'm saying do you have a link showing that the original comment made about them making an "original game" was based on God Of War?
GoWR is original content, so any link that says they worked there, like this one.

What you are doing is fucking debating them working on the game, I'm not telling you they didn't, I'm telling you their comments was not based on supporting God Of War and you've yet to provide a single link, tweet, comment etc showing that this exact comment was referring to God Of War.

bluepoint-games-holiday-tease-1536x1536.jpg
This image also confirrms they worked on GoWR, so also confirms that when they were talking about working on original content they were talking about working on the next new GoW game (GoWR).

This is part of that teaser showing the closed present of the game they've yet to reveal, if it was God Of War the whole time, why also already have a God Of War axe unless that was an already known thing and not part of their comment about teasing this mysterious game?
This image shows that they worked in SotC, Demon's Souls, GoWR (open boxes with weapons = shipped games) and obviously after GoWR they started to work in other game, which we don't know if it's from the GoW series or not (closed box = next game in the works).

Since they started to work in the game of the closed box after they completed their job on GoWR, very likely won't announce that game soon unless the lead studio of the game (not Bluepoint) and the other support teams already had been working on it for a while before Blupoint joined them.

Sir, Days Gone was started by Sony Bend at the time where they only had like 100 people and they hired more as the game developed.... Sooooo this whole thing about them being a small team doesn't support they are not working on some AAA game cause you don't know the exact size right now and them hiring now means they could still be in those early phases.

So....I don't see anything to argue God Of War was what they were referring to and you haven't given anything to support that their comments were about God Of War and yet to address why they would state something about a reveal on something announced, released etc.

So what ever they are working on, they are still working on. Unless you can prove those exact comments are about God Of War, it stands they are working on an original game of their own that has yet to be revealed.
In addition to work as support team between projects, Bend leaded their own new games since the PS1 days. Bend always had the needed team to lead their own AAA games when they started their games.

Bluepoint has always been a remasters/remakes studio until they shifted to become a support studio. They have the team needed to be a remasters/remakes or support studio. They don't have the needed team to lead their own AAA games as I shown before with the designers.

If they really moved away from remasters/remakes as his boss said, their next game after GoWR will be another support codevelopment job because they don't have the team needed to lead their own new AAA game, and even less a new IP.

smh, sir...I'm asking you if you have a link or any evidence to show us that the comments made about that "original game" is referring to God Of War, as in did anyone from that company ever state God Of War was what they were referring to.

I know what I'm asking isn't that odd, strange or coded in any way to be this fucking confused, its like you are trying your best to make an argument about doubting the worked on God Of War, when I've never made any statements even remotely suggesting that.

I know they worked on the game.

Do you have proof THAT GAME was what they were referring to?

This image also confirrms they worked on GoWR, so also confirms that when they were talking about working on original content they were talking about working on the next new GoW game

Lol so we going to ignore a whole fucking image where a present is wrapped up and they are talking about revealing a game? lol Holy shit man. You can't make this shit up lol

Stop man.

They never stated even once that the comment they made was referring to God Of War, the image even confirms THAT ISN"T A FUCKING SECRET, its literally something they know, are showing you, publicly stated etc, sooooo why would they then have in the same image a box unwrapped and then say they are gong to reveal something, yet God Of War is literally the thing already revealed that makes it not feasible to be what they are referring to lol

Since they started to work in the game of the closed box after they completed their job on GoWR, very likely won't announce that game s

You can't make this up its so funny.....thats wild, its almost as if its not revealed yet, like they are looking to reveal it when ready and its not a known thing... Like, they wish to reveal it when the time is right or something...hmmmm

So, I don't know how many from that team is working on this game, they could have been working on it along side God Of War as it could be in early phases or something, but you have not really made any strong points to suggest the original game they are referring to is God Of War, in fact you just keep posting links that they worked on it as if that is being argued lol

So if they announce some new IP or that they are talking over some existing IP, fuck are you even going to say?

That also MUST not be what they were referring to or?

smh.
They don't have the needed team
Yea, thats probably why they are hiring lol

I think there will be a state of play in June and the next showcase in sept-oct for the PS5 pro reveal.
My sources? Whoever everyone else's sources are, yea, that's it.

smh, sir...I'm asking you if you have a link or any evidence to show us that the comments made about that "original game" is referring to God Of War, as in did anyone from that company ever state God Of War was what they were referring to.
Do you have proof THAT GAME was what they were referring to?

I won't repeat it again, you can read my previous posts. It's blatantly clear that it is GoW because it's the original game where they were working and provided multiple receipts.

They didn't have free people to work in a separate game and even less to lead it. So obviously was GoWR, period.

Lol so we going to ignore a whole fucking image where a present is wrapped up and they are talking about revealing a game? lol Holy shit man. You can't make this shit up lol
The Christmas image it was made after they shipped GoWR. It is obvious after that the gift box is the (support) project where they are working since they completed their job in GoWR.

It isn't that hard to understand, but you seem to be a stubborn gaming flatearther incapable to see the facts in front of you because you don't like them.

So, I don't know how many from that team is working on this game, they could have been working on it along side God Of War
They couldn't be working on another project alongside GoWR. We know for a fact that the whole Bluepoint dev team did work on GoWR due to its game credits, and via the updated personal Linkedins of these workers we know they worked on it aprox. from Demon's Souls gold/release until aprox. GoWR gold/release.

They started to work on another unannounced project AFTER they completed their job on GoWR. And if they really moved away from remasters/remakes as his boss said, it's another support codevelopment job because they don't have people in certain areas to lead a AAA and even less a new IP.

So if they announce some new IP or that they are talking over some existing IP, fuck are you even going to say?
I will be happy to see the project where they are working as SUPPORT team codeveloping it with more studios as did in GoWR, in the next project Bluepoint started to work in AFTER GoWR (even if the lead studio -not Bluepoint- started to work on that project before, as happened in GoWR, since Blueoint helped there only for a couple years).

How could wires get crossed if all these "journalists" are consulting multiple sources before they declare marketing events are happening?

These journalists wont try to confirm with other sources so the ycan post the information first hand, it's important if they want to build a name for themselves.

its over for today and
Lets say this person is right and something gets announced tomorrow. Why is it SOOOOOO wrong to want a showcase around E3 time? I swear some of these people hate video games.
this 1000% if they want us not to beg then do not leak shit.

Honestly, he could be right. They may not have a show planned until June/July for all we know. Hell, maybe not until September.

It's entirely possible, Concord and the Astro game are at SGF, alongside the GOW Ragnarok PC version. oh, and the Horizon lego game.
