Isn't sony going to get many 3rd party console exclusives by default? Xbox is on the way out and switch 2 will be skipped because of technical limitations. I could see that happening. Besides, I'll never take games media seriously. They said consoles were dying and mobile would take over like 15 years ago!

A platform that's repeatedly hitting its concurrent users while getting console first party exclusives, is the last platform that needs saving, especially when GPU less than 1k are common too. Cannot say that for consoles though.

It's not about concurrent users, it's about the fact that PC hardware at the current rate of hardware cost increases year over year is unsustainable long term. Especially as we move into an era where RTX hardware is becoming a necessity. NVidia's greed and the idiots that keep overspending for their shit are going to be the ones that put it out of reach for many, and drive people back to console for a while.

The continuous increasing record numbers of concurrent users is literally not a sign that it is unsustainable. Quite the opposite; the high end console players has hardly increased exponentially over the decades.
