Fake, singed by AI at the end. Seems to be some sort of "Hope" language model they've used.

Well hell yeah. Guess the game sold well enough over the years to convince Sega it's worth it.

I still can't believe they told these devs to make a GaaS looter shooter instead of an Alien Isolation sequel, only for them to pull the plug on the whole thing before it was even out the door.

A literal decade wasted.
Hey, it could have been worse... they could have launched and then shut down 12 days later.

...the game director's name is Alistair Hope.

Represent.

Represent(ative) of bad opinions
Would you look at that. They actually had the sense and the balls to make a SEQUEL instead of a shameless remake/remaster.

Good on them

Also, you can thank ALIEN:ROMULUS for this getting greenlit. That movies box office success has revitalized the entire franchise.

I dont know if they can pull it off again. Watch it be some UE5 jank with terrible AI. Best call Bloober for assistance.

This probably puts me in the minority, and I say this as someone who absolutely loves Alien Isolation, but I’m really not bothered about a sequel. The first one did everything I wanted to, and did it brilliantly. Sure, I will almost certainly buy the follow-up when it comes out, but it doesn’t strike me as a game that really needs a sequel.

A sequel doesn't necessarily mean another Amanda Ripley story, it could be a different character in a different scenario.

As long as it isn't VR only.
For real. Its like when Valve announced a new half-life episode only to find out it was vr only. . And I have the headset, I just can't play for more than 15 minutes without motion sickness and uncomfortableness. VR is dead to me until it's easier for people with glasses and lighter.

That being said, any cool single player game or horror game is welcome. (this better be single player and not some dead by daylight/Friday the 13th survival multiplayer shit, play as the alien).
