Are you exhausted from a game, but really want to play it?

Situation where in your mind you really want to play that specific game but you are exhausted, maybe even tired from it. For me currently it's RE4 Remake, I recently finished it, downloaded Mercenaries Mode to continue that awesome gameplay, but I'm too exhausted from the game, too much fucking fun was had playing the Story mode.

I really wish gamers would know that by praying to the Holy Trinity can restore that exhausted state of yours. To get you back 'on point' for you to continue playing as fast as possible...
(I randomly want to say this, it's something I want to share quickly: as Jesus said, and in the understanding of that teaching, that what 'enters' you doesn't make you impure, but what makes you impure - is what you 'give out'...like I'm playing Doom, RE and such, but I'm not spouting some evil out of myself because if it)

What it is for you?

Baldurs Gate 3.
Same. I attribute the exhaustion/satiation to running multiple campaigns with different friends, in addition to my solo campaigns, and doing the same encounters over and over. Nothing some time away won't fix, it's a stellar game.

I'll likely jump back in with full vigor when patch 8 drops and I can try a new subclass.

This is why I rarely finish post-game content in RPGs. After beating a 50-100 hour long RPG, credits roll, oh look now it's post-game material lasting ~20 more hours. Nah I'm done. Then months later, "Man I should have finished that post-game stuff." Every damn time.

Balatro. Yes, I had heard all the praise about it, but I mostly play on consoles, and it didn't seem like an ideal console game. And in general, deck builders are just not my thing. So never played it before.

Then a few weeks back, I had to travel for several hours, so I picked it up for the Steam Deck. What the hell, at least I'll try it, maybe I'll be able to kill an hour or two. Fast forward to today: all the basic decks cleared on the lowest difficulty, one on the next difficulty, five challenges cleared. I sometimes have dreams about those damned cards. And yet, I'm itching to play more. PEGI was right, for all the wrong reasons - 18 rating is well justified, but not because of gambling, simply the addiction.

But do you actually return to the game after those months?

The question doesn't really make sense, you're basically asking "Do you want to play a game but also not want to play it anymore"
Did you read the OP?
(In your mind you want to play, but it's too much played already so you are physically (mentally) exhausted, you want to play because game is so good but it's too much...)

Marvel Rivals competitive.

One day I will get competent healers. It’s amazing how no matter what role I play, the game matches me with doodoo players. I play a great healer, we get trash DPS. I’m a great Groot tank, we have no good healers. It’s exhausting.

Oh, in that case, no. With work and kids and family I never have enough time in a gaming session to really gas out on playing entirely. Plus I'm in my late 30's now and after an hour or two my body and eyes need a break. It takes me weeks or months to even finish anything these days.

What is DPS?

Nope.

Sometimes if I've finished a big one and its taken me 70+ hours say then I take a break before starting anything new but that's about it.

But a quirk of mine, I generally only tend to have one game per system on the go at any one time also.
