If it is reasonably priced (not $100), works as advertised on a technical level and is a fun game, sure. That is, if they ever bring it out on PC. If they don't, I guess I'll never play it.

The question is not if you will buy GTA VI, but how many times.

V was 3x for me (PS3, PC, PS4)

Almost definitely day 1, even if it’s $119. Only way I won’t buy it is if it turns out that the single player campaign is light or is someone integrated with online and not a true single player campaign. If it turns out that’s the case, I won’t even pay $19 for it.

Played GTA IV back in 2012 while I was in college. Loved it then. When GTA V came out a year later, took up my free time for about three weeks. Tried to replay V in 2020 during lockdown and just couldn't get into it. The controls felt clunky, the way missions were handled felt archaic, and the world felt less alive than I'd remembered. I will probably get GTA VI at some point, but I'm really hoping they improve on some things, especially the controls. RDR2 had a lot of these issues as well, and I think people overlooked them because of the immersion factor.

I will not buy a console for this game. I normally have the needed console to buy day one, but not this time. I may wait for PC release on this one.

Day 1, but I'm pretty nervous about how a new GTA will turn out without Dan Houser, Leslie Benzies, and motherfucking Lazlo. Crossing my fingers and hoping for the best.

Reminds me of hoping Halo 4 would be as good as Bungie Halos. Ha.

BUT, but, I might change my mind and might not buy this game if the game will be so infested with push and force with woke agenda especially pertaining to twisted gender ideology. Rumors has it that Rockstar has a tie up with SBI consultancy, and that the development team is compose of some, leftist activist. I hope that will not influence the development of the game.

still waiting on their patented "Game Tutorials as a trailer" marketing strategy to kick in before believing they've made anything resembling a game.

If there aren't many substantial changes to Rockstar's shooting mechanics then I'm no rush. The game needs to be balls to the walls awesome to make me consider getting it day 1. I know someone will eventually leak early gameplay before the release date, so I'll be counting on those to pass my judgement.

Have purchased 4 and 5 on release, including taking days off of work. This is no different, except this time I will be playing it on PC instead of xbox 360. Upgraded my PC recently, so it should be an awesome time. I'll see you all online on release!

What time is it?
I've purchased every release at launch since GTAIII. I really didn't care for IV or V and really don't have much interest in VI. As much as I'd like to say I'll skip this title there is always force of habit. Maybe I'll wait for a significant price drop. That's a long winded way of saying, "I don't know."
