this was as close as you can get to a perfect season
Yeah for a long season show you cannot ask for more.
One or two meh or bleh episodes but nothing bad and has the best villain yet. Can't go wrong.

Caught the last episode last night although I stopped watching Arrow beginning of S4.
Wow this series stepped it up. Maybe I should come back to Arrow after 2 extremely disappointing seasons of the Flash.

He's both. The show was pretty clear there. Malcolm even acknowledged it. He's a very bad person who also loves his daughter. The two can co exist.
I don't even know why you're going after this particular thread. Nobody on the team has liked Merlyn, basically ever, and Thea has resented him ever since the Sara incident and hasn't wavered from that. Merlyn has generally been in it for himself and Thea and that's about it.
Nah, too much retreading and repeating previous seasons, and Chase's planning ahead for outcomes is so ridiculously bullshit he comes across too unrealistic and thus boring.
Better than 3 and 4 though.

You retread and repeat this line every post all year long. I still have no idea what you're talking aboutNah, too much retreading and repeating previous seasons, and Chase's planning ahead for outcomes is so ridiculously bullshit he comes across too unrealistic and thus boring.

hey guys
remember when chase said
I'll see you on the boat
TEN
STEPS
AHEAD
Manu Bennett keeps retweeting everyone asking for a Deathstroke spinoff. God damn that would be so fucking good. Kind of like the Punisher spinoff from Daredevil.
Celebrity Ninja Warrior is on now. Amell going to run soon.
Wow Josh Segarra just showed up and threw a bottle at Amell during the salmon ladder.
Thea conveniently stepping off a land mine.
The island being littered with landmines is actually something they established in season 2, I believe.

The only thing that bothered me about Chase was the fact he looks exactly like by brother.

More of a version of Slade who wasn't bat shit insaneChase must have been inspired by the joker lol
Yeah..Adrian Chase was a garbage character. I'm surprised everyone is so easily impressed. He had a chance at being great but there was too much dues ex machina involved with him. Anything he wanted just happened. Nothing was ever explained about him or his past, how he accomplished anything
Garbage ass deus ex machina character and had the actor been even a little less compelling, I'm sure most people would have seen it too. As it is, josh segarra carried the character from mediocrity into something watchable-at the most.
Soooo.... what happened to Vigilante??
They could have showed us anything. How did chase tamper with the arrow hideout so easily? How did he find William? How did he gain his martial arts prowess to be on par with all these people? How did he plan so far ahead? How does he do anything? Shit character and the defense for him is worse. What do they need to explain about Chase? He's just an extremely well prepared guy who put in five years of planning. He accomplished everything through a single minded focus, it's pretty simple, it's not like the super powered shows, he didn't do anything magical that required some mumbo jumbo, everything he did was realistic just very time consuming. He was never a superior fighter than Oliver either, and they kept pretty consistent with that. I mean did you need them to show you shots of him planting bombs all over the island or something?
I will say it seems like a huge missed opportunity not to have done a flashback episode with him, we could've seen his reaction to his father's death, tracking down Talia and training, etc. Would've been great. But not necessary. They could still do it too!

Also please stop with this "everything he did was realistic" nonsense. even if you want to change it to "realistic for a comic show"- just no. It's about as realistic as a nuke blowing up an American city and everyone moving on like nothing.

How can Arrow be so good and Flash so terrible?
How can Arrow be so good and Flash so terrible?
Look who decided to show upTwo years ago... You could say that we were saying the reverse
It would have been neat to see him in the process of coming up with one of said plans I guess, but I didn't really feel like I needed it. It'd probably be boring to see (imagine seeing him plant all those mines), and the people complaining the most likely wouldn't be satisfied anyhow unless they see every single one of his plans being set up or something lol
Also him becoming friends with oliver for over half the season and having a mole in his group also help sell it .
It´s funny how Thea tread on a mine even though there were 4-5 people walked before her.
